Experience was ok, beignets, corn bread, oysters, crepes were excellent. Lobster rolls were really, really disappointing, especially for $36 *each*. Bread was the best part of the roll. Service and atmosphere were good.

Very unassuming from the outside but very cool interior with a spacious dining room and large bar! We got there 2 minutes after they opened and I'm glad we did because by 1130 the place was packed! They gave us fair warning if we were going to have the spuflee pancakes then they are going to take a little time to cook and you should place orders for them as soon as you know. They weren't kidding as it was about 35 minutes from ordering until our dishes arrived but it was well worth the wait! Everything was absolutely delicious the fluffy pancakes soaked up all the strawberry creme freche making for a burst of flavor with every bite. Wonderful job team!

I ordered to-go while I was staying at the nearby Revolution Hotel a while back. I was super happy with the food I got. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp. They DO NOT SKIMP on the garlic!!!! Soooo delicious!!! The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly. It was the best meal I'd had in a while.

Went during Reastaurant week so went looking for the specials ..the waiter explained it didn’t make any sense because there was additional pricing for some of the items which defeats the Reastaurant week deal so I got the bootleg special for two and it was pretty good came out looking and smelling delicious and it was a good portion seeing how you get a whole lobster also got the shooter special but it was a little confusing because I thought you were getting 4 different flavored shots when it was just multiple flavors in that one shooter but I may go maybe one more time to try something else for another review just don’t go during reastaurant week unless they change the prices items

The food was incredible and our server was great (we got a few small plates to share). The restaurant decor was super cool and kind of unexpected from what the building looks like outside. Would highly recommend!

Their brunch special isn't much to rave about. I would suggest avoiding this place during brunch, really not worth it.My lobster roll was good but not worth $36 (MP) The clam chowder was fresh but tiny portion. The place had a nice vibe and decor which was the best thing about this place. The service was mediocre, the hostess had a miserable look on her face from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left. She gave no greeting when we arrived and when we left and said thank you to her she looked annoyed and said nothing. When we were sat it took them about 10 minutes to get to our table and offer us drinks and we only saw our server when she took our order and dropped off the check. No engagement whatsoever. We left hungry and disappointed.

We had brunch for the first and certainly not the last time here today. The decor is amazing...definitely noteworthy and different from other restaurants in the city. The service was spot on. I don't remember her name unfortunately, but she was very attentive and on her gameAnd the food....oh the food. The sexy soufflé pancakes were just dreamy. The four of us shared quite a few items on the menu. Three little pigs, which was bacon, sausage patties and linguica was a good plate of savory proteins to complement the sweet (not too sweet) pancakes and the delicious peaches and cream crepes.Garlic noodles with shrimp and bacon was divine as well. Now I'm dying to try the dinner as well!

Such a unique fun hip bumping vibe. Never knew the unassuming BOOTLEG SPECIAL corner spot was a cool and eclectic spot.... Louisiana Cajun southern inspired underground speakeasy with very delicious seafood small plates and fun drinks as well as bussin bussin whole seafood boils. Vibey atmosphere and decor and lights and music too!

Good time at Bootleg Special, but way better when the DJ was there. No DJ through off the whole vibe. Bring back the D.J.
