Perish like a dog. The taste is not good and the price is too expensive. I recommend never going.

Quincy market was our first stop during a weekend trip to Boston. This food booth is just a few spots down on the right as you head in from the west Entrance of the market. It has an appealing store front with many delicious looking seafood dishes of which the large shrimp stand out. Since it was our first stop, we thought we'd give the oyster shooter a try. Two Fresh shucked oysters in a large shot glass with some Sam Adams beer. Taste was surprisingly very good and tasty. Will definitely go back if only for another shooter. Service was exceptional.

Stopped here because of the sample of clam chowder soup. It was so good! Ordered the hot lobster roll that came with a clam chowder soup and a drink for $38. Not a bad deal. Soup was 10/10 but the lobster roll a 6/10. It needed butter. I think if it had melted butter to put on it would jump up to a 7.5

Today was the day I had my first bad lobster roll and clam chowder….. their lobster meat is pre portion in plastic containers sitting in a heated glass case which dries up the lobster meat. It was super dry and rubbery. Their clam chowder was okay, it had a super fishy after taste. The worst $35 I’ve ever spent at Quincy market. The people serving were really nice tho and took my order quickly.

So good and delicious! We love the clam chowder (medium was $8) and fresh shrimp with cocktail sauce here. Shrimps are giant and super meaty (small plate $15 and large for $20)! Follow me for more food adventures on Instagram at @maggielicious.

This was my first time eating at boston & Maine fish co. To eat I had a hot Lobster roll and id rate it a 3.5 out if 5. The portion was great but as soon as I was given the roll it didn’t seem to be cooked long enough. The taste was good. Hoping to come back for a second chance :)

Flew into Boston, dropped our luggage off at the hotel and walked straight here! Make sure you get the hot buttered lobster roll deal with clam chowder and freshly made lemonade. OMG! Literally the best thing I have ever eaten!

Chowder fairy nice. Oyster shots? What one can expect.Service??? The man serving us straight away belittled us by telling us we had no idea what we were ordering. Then, he told me off for taking the oyster shot from him 'I'M NOT FINISHED'. Then he went on and put a small fork in it. Like, ok, is that it?He stood over us, hands on the bar, whilst we tried eating - passive aggressive motions and behaviour.Best part? As I'm paying -31$, and I gice him 40, he gives me back 5 and chucks 4 into the tip jar like: yeah i deserve it.Sorry we don't speak Portuguese as your mates around, who you'd given free stuff to

We ordered two combos each with a hot buttered lobster roll and a small clam chowder soup plus a drink. The roll was disappointing because not only the size was tiny but the lobster tasted rubbery and chewy, not as sweet and tender as I had expected. The soup was delicious though. But we were asked to pay tips when given the bill when we couldn’t even find a seat to sit do, let alone to be serviced, but I felt pressured and still chose to give the tips. So everything show costed us $82. Definitely not worth the money.

Super good clam chowder and gumbo. Tried couple of chowders down the row and by far this stall has the freshest tasting soups and lobster.
They're not the place to go to get this.
