What a true gem! We have passed this restaurant so many times and we decided to have Easter brunch here. It was spectacular. The food is out of this world. The pancakes are over an inch and a half thick each. They offer shakshuka of different varieties, huge salads, fun cocktails, fabulous baba ganoush and fat warm pitas. The menu is very varied with American cuisine, pasta, and Moroccan inspired goodness. We will be back.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian dishes.Kid-friendliness: Loud and fun for brunch.

Ordered the Landwer shakshuka and the Landwer breakfast. The shakshuka was a bit underwhelming (flavour-wise) and there were huge chunks of tomato in the dish. Not sure if that's typical or not, but some pieces were the size of a singular slice of tangerine. It was my first time having shakshuka so that may be what the dish is supposed to be like, but just keep that in mind if ordering.Ordered 2 hot teas and 1 hot chocolate. The hot chocolate came with a rim of chocolate that made it messy/hard to drink. Both the teas were not hot enough, and simply warm.Staff were low-energy and a little moody, but it was a cold and rainy day. No specific incidents.

Reasonable food but super rude staff providing terrible service.I was made to wait for 40 mins for an order which was ready but never brought to me and the manager was not apologetic rather rude to a paying customer.Only visit if you like to pay and then be insulted by restaurant staff

The options for breakfast are great and the food tastes good! However it can get a bit crowded and loud in the mornings which also makes service take longer. I recommend if you have time for a good breakfast but not if you're in a hurry.

Today, 03/24/24, around 2pm, I went to cafe landwer. I approached a host to get seated. First thing, host (a man with blue/green eyes were rude for NO REASON. He’s been talking to coworker, while im standing in front of him, tryna awkwardly get his attention. I politely said hi, and requested a table for two. (there were 2 free tables) To which he responded with “YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR 20 MINUTES”. What happened to “HELLO, HOW ARE YOU?” . Anyways, I agreed, left my number and been waiting outside. and guess what, a couple came right after me (white couple!!!) get nicely greeted and seated immediately. I didn’t even receive a text message, waiting there for 20 minutes. I am very disappointed that in such a diverse place I still get mistreated for looking or speaking different.

Service leaves something to be desired, but the food is delicious. The fresh baked breads and falafel were highlights. I enjoyed all the bold flavors. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Great spot for a quick, reasonably priced, lunch or dinner with a nice drink in the heart of Copley. Everything is excellent from the sandwiches, to the salads, to the Mediterranean entrees.

They didn’t have the food we ordered available, but they gave us our second choice for free, so that was nice! The eggs benedict were really good! Highly recommend

Came twice for breakfast over a couple of days. The first day I got the Halloumi Shakahouka which was very tasty with a side of chopped salad and tehini. The second day I got the Landver famous breakfast. I am mixed about this one. Everything was close to great but mostly just ok. The omelette to which I added feta didn’t feel like real eggs and the feta was just randomly added later (also, if you charge extra for the feta, say so when ordering). The various dips were just ok. The yogurt with granola, halva and honey was fantastic.Fresh juice was a nice addition to both meals, if you take the ginger one ask for them to add only a bit since it was VERY gingery and I am a ginger fan.Service was good on both days.

I really hate to write this review because this place used to be amazing. Every time someone from out of town would visit I'd take them here but now it's just gotten terrible. 1 visit I got served moldy pita and it wasn't a small spot, almost half the back of it was blue. They did take it back and refund it but it was still off-putting. Another time I went and the shakshuka was very metallic tasting. I obviously understand that cooking in a cast iron (especially with a food as acidic as tomato) will cause more iron to get into the food but this straight up tasted like a metal bar. And the last time I visited the food and service was just bad. We waited about 5 min just to get a host to get seated. Once seated the waitress was very hard to get a hold of but when we got tired of waiting and wanted to just order to the table from the qr code she kept insisting on taking the order. It took a while for our food to get to our table (I was seated facing the kitchen and saw our food sitting there for a while before the waitress brought it over) and the waitress immediately left again before we could ask for more napkins. She came back with the bill before asking us if we wanted to order anything else. We did end up ordering dessert and while my friends dessert came out quickly my knafeh took a pretty long time and was cold once I got it. I really hate to say this but I won't be coming back again
