Decent place for a cup of coffee

I've worked in the same building as Cafe Med for over a year now. Recently I've been on the hunt for a yummy falafel salad and falafel king is just a bit to far. I went in for lunch today and to say I was impressed is an understatement! This is everything I've been looking for! The falafel was delicious, the salad fresh and the handmade hummus was amazing. If you go in, I hope you get the chance to meet James. He runs the show and is so incrediblely nice! Already can't wait to go back

The owners are freakin awesome. The chef is a Greek woman who begins prepping at 6:30a-7a. Everything here is authentic, made with heart and soul and they made me feel so welcome after a long day at the WeWork. Thanks Manos and James!

Below average on everything I tried. 1. med salad (supposed to be the Greek tomato salad). They replaced virgin oil with Ranch. Sorry this is a capital crime plus disgusting. 2. Angolemono. This missed the second ingredient of the word which is lemon. Also it qualified for vegan as there was no chicken. Pretty bad overall. 3. Spinach pie was ok. On the positives it looks clean and friendly.

Very good service and food here is quite tasty! Love the fact that the chicken is well marinated.

Place is small. Food is average if they have any. Big menu but almost nothing available only about an hour into lunch. Prices are very reasonable for the area but that probably won't be enough to get me back in there again.

A bit hidden on St. James Ave, this place served solid food at decent prices. The Bifteki plate ($10.75 without tax/tip) was a good option with hearty portions of salad, rice and meat. The meat was shaped into a log rather than patty shaped. It was not too dry and pretty flavorful. The salad was mostly greens with a sprinkling of cucumber and tomato. Service was friendly and prompt. Rice was not mushy at all and was tasty with the bifteki.

James is the owner and an all around good guy.

I like their food. What I had was delicious. The young lady working the front is super pleasant and smiles a lot. They were a little short on their offerings at the time and the cooks were a bit slow to get the food ready. That said, I do like their food. It's a cozy little place, too. Not hectic like other places are at lunchtime. I recommend them.

Not sure why this place doesn't show up as an option, I'm literally sitting here zoomed in on the area and Yelp doesn't show it as an option. I'm guessing they don't pay for reviews, a shame yelp doesn't still show them because this place is a gem. Fresh, delicious, no frills lunch spot.

Went there twice about a year ago. Service was great and the lamb and chicken gyros were memorably good

Ordered a spinach pie - it was so so... Not hot, not big either. Person putting it in a to go container asked if I wanted salad with it. I asked if it came with it and she said yes, so I said sure, I'll have some salad with it... Then she rings me up and charges extra for salad!! Grrrr... At least I tried it, now I know not to go back!

This place was nice and it was pretty authentic. There might have been AC but it was still insanely hot inside so that wasn't fun. There is enough seating though and the location is really convenient. I had the spinach pie for lunch and it was a little bit dried out but otherwise yummy. I would probably stop by here again for a quick bite but not a whole meal.

This place serves authentic Greek food, like my grandma's kitchen, and with hospitality like hers too! By far the best value in the area, with a substantial lunch plate running around ~$10 made with quality ingredients and excellent preparation. And because it's served food-line style, it's fast! Perfect for a lunch break.
