Amazing amazing amazing. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu! It does get crowded during lunch time on the weekend so I recommend coming in right after/before the

After wanting to try Cafe Weekend for so long, I finally decided to order through Uber Eats for pickup, hoping for a quick brunch grab. This turned out to be one of my most disappointing experiences in the U.S. so far.For those looking to enjoy a peaceful brunch, especially when ordering through Uber Eats, I recommend steering clear of this cafe to avoid a similar unpleasant experience. In a short word:My visit to Cafe Weekend was marred by the owner's rudeness; despite arriving on time as indicated by Uber Eats, I was met with dismissal and a shocking suggestion to "just cancel the order" when questioning the delay. This encounter, especially being publicly chastised in the cafe, left a lasting negative impression, overshadowing any positives from the food itself. The Uber Eats app indicated my order would be ready by 12:51. Arriving right on time, I was told by the staff that they were too busy and I would need to wait another 10-15 minutes. Confused, I explained that I was there because their status on Uber Eats showed "Ready to Pick Up," implying they had confirmed the order was ready. When I suggested that the cafe could use the app to notify of any delays (a common practice), the owner dismissively claimed they had no control over the "Ready to Pick Up" status and rudely suggested, “Then you can just cancel the order!”Such a response was shocking. It seemed my attempt to conveniently order ahead and pick up on time was met with deceit, leading to unnecessary waiting. The owner’s indifferent and disrespectful demeanor, especially when he loudly chastised me in front of other customers, was appalling. My husband, who generally avoids confrontation, couldn't believe the rudeness of the treatment we received.Upon my husband's return to pick up the order 15 minutes later, the owner attempted to apologize by offering two free coffees (which I don't know was for his rudeness or simply the order delay). However, this gesture did not compensate for the earlier mistreatment or the loud scolding in the store.Objectively, the brunch met my expectations. However, service is equally important, and a simple apology for the delay and better communication initially could have resolved the situation amicably.Reviewing other feedback, it seems that this cafe's service issues are not new, dating back to 2022, and yet remain unaddressed in 2024. It appears the owner believes the cafe's social media popularity and high Google Maps rating make individual customer experiences irrelevant.Regardless of the quality of the food, such service is a definitive deal-breaker for me.

Small nice place. Service is great. I wish they would notify us or it would be mark in the menu that shakshuka is VERY spicy. Unfortunately I couldn't even feel the taste of pancakes after that.

Super friendly service, inviting atmosphere, and amazing food! The taro latte was a warm, sweet (but not too sweet!) hug in a mug. The pancakes were so fluffy and soft! The towoomba panini, however, was the star of the show! It was so fresh, unusual, and absolutely delicious! All in all, I can't recommend Cafe Weekend highly enough!

Blueberry cream cheese croffle, toowomba panini and caramel machiatto are really great and prices are fair. $5-6 drinks, $8 or so for the croffle, $17 for sandwich very good quality. Wasnt busy at 12:30 when I went so was quick.Feel like its one of those places where everything is pretty good and some are standouts depending on what you like.

The BEST breakfast/brunch food in Boston! I loved how balanced the dishes were and well portioned (not too little or too much). Prices are very fair. My favorite has to be the smoked salmon sandwich and blueberry croffle. Super delicious!! The pancakes and western omelette were also great.I didn’t enjoy the caramel croffle because it was too sweet. Could’ve been better if it was topped with Biscoff instead of caramel. The Boston cheese steak omelette was a miss because the beef was mixed with tomato sauce/had a sweet taste, which was odd with the omelette. The home fries were slightly on the burnt side. Regardless, everything else I tried was amazing.Beware: if you go during peak lunch hours, they are very understaffed and it will take a while to place your order. In terms of drinks, the einspanner coffee was to die for. This is going to be my new go-to place for breakfast!!

Lemonade was too sweet and too sour... tasted like sour patch. BLT sandwich had too much lettuce.
