This place was amazing!! The food was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! We loved the outdoor sitting as well.
I love this place with all my heart. Very nice pasta and lovely wine selection right in the heart of the north end.
Delicioso!! I grew up in the Boston area and had only been to the North End once while in high school. SO glad I was able to adventure there again twice in one weekend. This spot was cute and COVID friendly. My partner had their lasagna and I initially scoffed at him for bearing so "basic" but this wasn't your mama's typical lasagna. Light and fresh, not overly seasoned. Wonderfully done. I had the branzino with risotto. Expertly seared. I'll definitely be back.
My girlfriend and I had a gorgeous, relaxing, and wonderful dinner here. We had the lobster ravioli (shared appetizer portion), pesto gnocchi (for her), and chicken cacciatore (for me). Let me tell you, not only was the owner attentive, kind, and service incredible, but the food was so mesmerizingly delicious, I couldn't allow leftovers to survive even after being full midway. The price is incredibly reasonable as well. Really happy to find this gem. Thank you!
We had a fabulous time. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. Hanover street was alive and bustling. Every restaurant was seating on the street. Very pretty and inviting!
Probably my favorite restaurant in the north end. I’ve been several times and everything I’ve gotten has been delicious. They make their pasta fresh and you just can’t beat it. I recommend going for lunch and getting a seat by the window to look out on the beautiful Hannover street.
I DO NOT RECOMMED. The place is alright but they the food it wasnt that great. The Gnocchi it was without salt and flavor. The server told was that we should place all the order together. We couln’t have the apps first and then have our time to think about the main meal. We had to place the order right away, all together. When we went to pay the bill they didin’t allow us to split between two cards. It was a little but disappointed.
Burrata, homemade gnocchi, and eggplant rollotini. Bottle of gavi. Enough said. Sat outside under umbrellas and people watched.
The most comfortable chairs of the “strip” hannover street. Service is great. $15 for a couple of fried calamari is a bit disappointing Either charge less or serve more
Went today and had the most wonderful experience! This was also my first restaurant outing in the midst of covid. They were beyond accommodating for my kids, more than I would have been ha. Most importantly food was fantastic. We ate outside and were totally comfortable. Loved.
Wonderful ambiance, delicious authentic Italian cuisine with wonderful waitstaff. Loved the outdoor seating on Hanover Street in the North End.
My husband and I came here last night for our date night. We were seated in the outdoor area. The host and waiters were friendly and there was great service! I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the lamb ragu. Both were delicious!
Love that the tables are setup on Hanover St...but where to park? Finally went to pier and parked car. Expensive spot but worth it to have lunch in North End! Stumbled upon nice pair of waiters at Casarecce where I enjoyed lunch of appetizers. I had a perfect view of the passers by as I enjoyed by calamari and mussels in marinara. Accompanying bread was amazing. Clearly it will be hard to serve many tables on rainy days like today - but give them a try. Good menu of your favorites and very friendly staff.
The Chicken Cacciatore was so yummy and my waiter was very attentive.
We stopped here last night and got a table no problem. They have a great set up for Covid-19 restrictions, about 10 tables or so outdoors on the blocked off street section with umbrellas. They have an indoor single person bathroom and do ask that you wear a mask inside. The space is cleared as all their tables are now outside, but when things do open back up, it is a smaller space and could get crowded easily. The food was excellent - we had Veal Parmigana and Casarecce Chicken Vodka. Our waiter, Mohammed, brought our drinks and bread (with oil and grated cheese), gave up ample time to order with a thorough review of the different pasta they offer (upon request). The portions were perfect - too often when you order pasta dishes there is just too much, this was the right amount to feel full but not stuffed when you finish your dish. Mohammed checked on us, brought us wine, and did not rush us through our meal. Some other reviewers said it took too long to get their check, but I appreciated that he let us relax and enjoy our last glass of wine before bringing the check. The food and service were wonderful, we will definitely be back.
