Fairly pricey for the area. Most disappointed that they added a mandatory gratuity (service charge) for our party of 4. When asked if this is standard or why, they just said because "you guys ordered a lot of food".So the penalty for giving them more money is a mandatory gratuity, interesting.Dim sum was standard, fairly greasy and loaded with sodium and MSG. Our group was thirsty for the rest of the day! Better to just drive towards Quincy for the options there.

Was not disappointed. Great hospitality and wonderful food. Got a chance to speak with the owner and he explained that it is a family owned business that has been around for years. I asked were they also affiliated with the location that use to be located in Downtown Boston, Chinatown. He said yes. I will be definitely returning again!

I love Dim Sum of this place, the taste remains good for past many years. They just need to upgrade the atmosphere a little bit. Other than that , food is always good.

I enjoyed a lovely lunch here when visiting the area. On a quest to find hearty, comforting food during a stressful time I happened to come across Chau Chow Restaurant much to my delight. The restaurant was clean (they displayed their "A" rating certificate for cleanliness from the state), the service was attentive, and the food was delicious. It was nice that Dim Sum was offered during the lunch hour and we certainly made some selections from that menu. To begin we were served a lovely hot tea from a pot which which was refilled as quickly as it was out. My dining mates enjoyed their food selections and we enjoyed the traditional meals offered. I would definitely return.

Authentic atmosphere, mostly Asian people filling the tables. Nothing fancy but they do have steam carts! Most dishes $5.50-6.50. Their website says opens at 9 am. Yelp says 11am. We got there at 10:30. Several tables were full. When I asked for greens, they told me no vegetables until 11:00. We went from there to the zoo. Not too far. Made for a nice day. Right off 93, easy to park.

Order for first time for delivery. Food was not great and I had to pay extra for rice! The menu on line gives no description of the dish. Ravioli was really heavy and two chicken dishes were heavily breaded. If I knew I would not have ordered. Not for me. And paying for rice really??

Am thinking that they might have a new chef because our food was not good. The egg roll was small, thin, oily and burnt. Defined not the same and I ordered shrimp fried rice and the rice was hard and they forgot to peel the shrimp. Never Again!!!

Delicious food, of a more refined taste than your normal americanized Chinese restaurant. Clean and bright atmosphere with great service and delicious flavorful food. 10/10 will be back.

I placed an order thru Uber Eats last Sunday food was salty nd missing the duck sauce! Placed another order today, called the restaurant to make sure food was not salty and also to add duck sauce… Boom food arrived this time was good but missing the sauce, called restaurant and the phone guy called me a lier! When I’m a regular customer! This place is ridiculous with their customer service! RUDE RUDE RUDE! Had the nerve to called me a lier and blind! Will never spend a dime at this restaurant! GREEN TEA IN LYNN ?

The food was fairly average for dim sum. A lot of the food tasted like it's been out for a while, but that's part of having less customers that are eating the food (so the food is stuck in the carts for a while). The service was really good with the manager being super attentive and delegating the dim sum cart ladies to tables for food. It feels different from Chinatown, but it's very standard for a dim sum restaurant. They have a tv playing a nfl game on the Sunday afternoon that I went which was a fun surprise. Parking is fantastic, always great when I don't need to pay for garage parking to great taste in Chinatown.

Dim sum was really good, nothing was cold, egg rolls and crab cakes were nice and crunchy but not too oily! The vibe was really quiet in the evening so if you want a place without so much chatter and noise but good food this is the place to go! 10/10 would stop by again!

Know it and love it from years past, but always way too empty for the quality of food and service!Large menu with good variety, and plenty of vegetarian options.
