Best Dim Sum in massachusetts! Great service and I love the rotating carts so that you start eating the instant you are sat!

First Family trip to Boston. Disappointing. The picture of the restaurant that you see is not what you'll get. People come for a traditional dimsum restaurant that was advertised. Not some upgraded to modern appetizing to the tasteless people in the middle of Chinatown. The place is too modern that even the people that worked there speaks perfect English.Customer . Said 20 min wait. We waited 45 minutes just to get seating for 4. Waiter, Server, and Busser kept walking past us like we were standing statues. About maybe 30 groups that came in and left (good for them, we should have left too). They probably thought that they were in the wrong restaurant.. All the food were bland. The only thing that makes it better was the spicy sauce. Who mixed soy sauce with vinegar???? Oh, no cup water, bottled water only (Poland Spring, to be exact). My suggestion is, to avoid this place completely. Go across the street. I bet it's better.

This place is my favored. I visit many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very attentive and the cuisine they cook is so good. I never decline to have a good dinner here. I highly recommend this place.

I was at this restaurant during the late quarantine time when things were pretty much opening up and also many restaurants opened up that time including this. It was recommended to me, honestly, by my uber driver and she was so ecstatic while recommending. So, I thought of giving a shot. The decor is good and impressive- spacious with lots of sitting arrangements, good smell and a calming atmosphere. Good for family eating outs or with friends or colleagues. There are few points that I would like to make for new goers:1. Do not go by the menu. You might think that the menu is saying this n that. However, it’s not kinda thing that we draw in our mind. For instance, flat rice noodles doesn’t mean that it would be superbly long and non-sticky noodles. It’s far far different from that. I’m not sure, may be, that’s what the authentic Chinese flat noodles is. I’ve attached some photos for reference.2. It’s pricy!! I don’t have any problem in paying more if the food is good and satisfactory to my eyes. However, in this case, neither it was satisfactory nor worth the money. Also, they charged for just normal water.3. Authentic Chinese cuisine is different from the Indo-Chinese and American Chinese one and I’m glad that I’ve had all of them tasted. I love authentic Chinese cuisine. If not all, but definitely some. Albeit this place offers some authentic ones, however I would not go again just to eat some authentic Chinese cuisine again. I would be delighted to go somewhere else for authentic ones.

Saturday dim sum is not the same. Place is cramped and dark. Limited selections, but the har gow as usual, keeps me in check. BBQ pork buns are great but I was underwhelmed with my tripe. I normally love them. I need to come back for Sunday dim sum.

Went for dim sum with my family of five on a Sunday morning at 10:30 am. There was a line that took 20 minutes to get seated. Restaurant layout is nowhere near a typical dim sum experience that has large round tables and food carts. You order off a menu and your food is brought out like a typical restaurant. Bizarre decor with murals of a "sailor monkey." Very slow service, seems understaffed. Took 20 minutes to get the check and pay. Food was average and only warm when it came out. Prices expensive compared to dim sum experiences in NYC, Chicago, San Fran. Will not go back.

Nice menu and friendly staff. But a little bummed that you have to pay for water. The food is decent and fairly priced.

The manager/owner recommended two specials fried calamari and a trio of mushrooms. Both came to $38 what a rip off, she said prices have increased since Covid. Not authentic Dim Sum. Very poor service as well, I don’t recommend!

Traveling in Boston, China Pearl offered the worst experience for me. As a Chinese, I can not believe the tast was so so so bad. I do not think any Chinese can stand that. The tast was not only fake Chinese, but also bad quality. The food I ordered even not warm enough. They also used a paper box to provide dine-in food. The decoration is also wierd. Everything is only for none Chinese tourists. I felt so cheated by so many good online recommendations. After the meal, I talked to one of the onwer from a shop in the China town, as a local, she told me China Pearl was good 7-8 years ago. No local Chinese will go there now.

Small operation at the first floor. The old place is remodeling right now.

They offer socially distanced seating during COVID. The dim sun was good, though a bit oily to my own taste.

DONT EVER COME!1. Extremely long waiting time. People waits 30 mins to check the bill. Foods take 1 hours and they even didn’t figure out what was served and what wasn’t.2. Staff are not organized and with no experience. Tables are left for a long time until someone comes to clean it. And the staff needs to come twice to clean the table next to it. Nobody is welcoming when there are at least 3 tables emptied and sanitized.3. Finally, foods are not authentic. I came from Guangdong(where dim sum was found). I can tell the food here only reaches a passing score. Do you want to hire a student with 2.0GPA? Want some American-DIM SUM, go for it.
