My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Dolce. The lobster ravioli was particularly delicious and everything else was perfect as well. However, what truly stood out was the warm and welcoming ambiance of the place. The staff members were incredibly kind and treated my autistic son like one of their own. It was heartening to see such compassion and empathy. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its food and its excellent service.

Average food but found a black hair in my girlfriends food (in it not on it) and when we brought it to their attention we did not receive an apology from anybody. When they brought the new plate out they said “watch out for your hair” to my girlfriend. Wasn’t her hair color or length. Cleary an accusation that it was hers at first. Owner came over to ask how things were and we mentioned the hair and still no apology from him. Instead he made an excuse that things can fall from the ceiling. So there is hair on the ceiling? Yikes! Definitely won’t be back

This place is excellent. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Franco is an entertaining entrepreneur who makes each guest feel special. His staff is second to none. The food is spectacular, and his down to earth style caps the evening off. 5 stars is an insult!

Everything was amazing about our experience! My sister and I were looking at the menu posted outside and the owner stepped out and started telling us about the dishes and then he personally wrote us down for a reservation and gave us the best seat, later that night.

This was truly excellent experience. We were celebrating International Women Day with another couple and it was great. First of all we were running late for our 7:30 reservation, Boston traffic never predictable. Called to inform the restaurant and the answer was: don't worry, we'll keep your table open for you. I'm talking about Friday night and they could have sit someone else, but they accommodated us. We were greeted by a very polite waiter and the owner and escorted to the table. Food was excellent, selection and owners and waiters recommendations were superb. The atmosphere was pleasant and noise level was very low so we could have a conversation and not scream over music. All and all everyone was very pleased and the night was a success. Thank you Dolce Vita, thank you gentleman, big thank you to kitchen staff. We will definitely be back for our next occasions.

Given the choice I would not go back to this restaurant again. As soon as we walked in you could feel a change of atmosphere, if we didn't have a reservation we would have been denied service. We observed the interaction of the waiters with the other patrons and noticed a complete attitude change when approaching our table, I know it wasn't in my head, since they knew we're there to celebrate a birthday and they promised to bring a cake and sing to us at the end as they did for some of the other people?. None of that happened.Do you wonder why!!Skin tone my people. The food was agreeable, nothing to rave about, the service was a 3 ⭐ the stuck up attitude a complete bulls#!+

We were staying in the North End and wanted some pasta so we gave it a chance and it was delicious! We had carbonara and stuffed shells and it was very good. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. We knew what we wanted so the food came out quickly. We weren’t given any bread but we ordered garlic bread and it was fantastic. The server wasn’t bad or rude but he could have been a little more friendly. The food was reasonably priced but the drinks are super expensive. I had a vodka and soda, it came in a very small glass and it was $14.

I live in the North end... any time I have a visitor and they want a great restaurant, I take them here.from a few years ago ////I've walked by this place many times and finally went.that was a good decision!they actually have fresh pasta on the menu!many places in the north end do not... and the interior has a very European feel

Want a gross experience in the North End? Look no further! Dirty table, gross dirty wall, dirty bottle of hand sanitizer at your table. Dirty napkin wrapping up your two cold ends of bread.Need the ladies room? Expect no soap to wash your hands. (Do the staff wash their hands? Not sure. )Service - The owner/waiter comes over quickly to rush your order. He does not explain the menu or specials, just tries to hurry you up.Food - Bread for the table was two cold end pieces. Were they recycled from a prior table? Likely. My home made Cavatelli Bolognese sounded great from the menu, but the sauce was bitter from the wine not being cooked out of it. My wife’s meat lasagna had almost no meat.Best parts were the friendly host who seated us and the glass of wine.We will not return here.

Had a reservation booked for 8 people. I would call a reservation at this place a suggestion. After waiting an hour after we were scheduled to sit - we left. There was no table in sight and the communication to our party was awful. Super rude and disrespectful as we had our night planned around this.

LARGE GROUPS BEWARE: We had a reservation for 9 of us on a weekend night, made through Open Table. Dolce Vita did not honor the reservation, nor did they seem to honor the reservations of many parties that came through the door. We waited an hour with no updates to when our table would be ready, and struggled to find an alternative option at the last minute. If you are booking reservations for a large party I would avoid making plans here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We had a large group reservation for 8 people on a Saturday night at 7:30. We arrived at the restaurant and there were 20+ people waiting, not an open table in sight. The host was confused, overwhelmed, and not accommodating in the slightest. We waited till 8:15 with no sign of a table opening anytime soon, and no food coming out of the kitchen to people already sitting down. Luckily a nearby restaurant was able to take us instead. Truly awful experience here, they do NOT honor reservations. Horrible
