I used to do there for getting a food and the waitress (around 50 years old) wasn’t really kindly, her face look really upset, she didn’t deserve a Tip. On La Fonda Website Menu you can find cheaper plates prices, but when you order and go to pay es more expensive than website Menu, some Menus on tables are manipulated with pencil.

The bartenders have a lot of trust in their clients. You take drinks and food and they put it in your account without asking you. They overloaded my account and I asked if they would take from me what I didn't ask for or give to anyone. Afterwards, when I complained inside, the security took me out by force and I sprayed pepper spray in my face and broke my nose. You know, don't go to this place, it's too dangerous. These people are hungry for money and I want to steal your money. I was bleeding a lot from my nose and they didn't care that I bled to death.

This restaurant was pretty good and the food was very good until a cockroach started dancing around our booth. I took a picture which is attached. The manager was informed and yet offered no discount for our trouble. So I regretfully give this restaurant one out of five stars. I will also call the health department. And I never heard of a restaurant, not giving a discount to a customer who actually found a cockroach!

But it is still active on their website. They said I have to get the refund through the Menustar platform. No apology, no nothing.

The food was good and fresh but we didn’t appreciate the fact that the tip was already included in the first receipt as an item of the check, instead of separate, we think that was a little deceiving and we ended up paying double tip.Dine in: Yes

Watch out for the "extra customer service fees" that cannot be explained. Was told it was only for card transactions, but also took the same fee out of cash. Food was not great.

I'll admit that I landed at this place because the restaurant I planned to visit, was closed. This place was open and despite the little dive appearance, the food was good and the portions were generous. The breaded chicken was huge, the Plato tipico was on point! The tostone with everything was really good as well. I do not suggest the Arroz con pollo unless you like hot dogs! The waitress was friendly enough and was really trying to manage all the tables and the take out orders too. Now, I have issue with how the receipts were managed. I'd prefer transparency about charges. A party of four had 18% tip included in the original receipt. When I gave my credit card, they brought back a different receipt that didn't label the already included %18 tip but it showed an additional 5% "convenience fee" and left the tip line blank with recommended tip amounts. Now, had I not read the original receipt, I would of mistakenly tipped again. So, the take home message is - read your receipt carefully, maybe even snap a picture so that you know exactly what the deal is.

I ordered a bandeja paisa witch only half of it got to me”it was missing the chicharrón and half of the steak” vey plain food with a lack of flavor ,o also ordered a drink that they didn’t have but I still got charged for it, When I called to ask for the missing items I was treated poorly and the person on the other side of the phone was very rude no solution was offered whatsoever since they said everything was packed “ This is no way to conduct business I’m never gonna order from this place again
