I'm really glad that they brought back the cashew energy bites. I sincerely hope that they'll add new items to the menu for the summertime.

This review is long overdue - I basically *live* at this place - easily get about 7+ orders here a week. When trying to eat enough greens and veggies, etc. I find it's easy to throw away a lot of produce / generate a lot of food waste and I find the prices to be reasonable for the high-quality food that you get in the right proportions. The salads are enormous and when I compare the cost of all the ingredients if I were to buy it all myself. I'm a recent cancer survivor so eating as healthy as possible is critical and this place is just awesome. Also, the people that work here are *the best*! If I ever move, I think I'll miss this place the most! Thanks for having a great place with truly healthy food alternatives!

The protein punch bowl is interesting, very rich. I've had their salads, which are also very good and often prepared quite quickly. They use highly perfumed cleaning products, and that smell is distasteful, impacting their atmosphere. I never see anybody sitting in to eat.

Simply put, my favorite take-out spot in all of greater Boston. I've been coming here 4-5 times a week basically since they've opened. My go-to order is the Super Nutrition (I add Camu Camu) but the salads, smoothie bowls and toasts are all awesome, too. Great location across from the Y so I can stop in post-workout!

I love this place. I always get salads. Their salads are big bowls of fresh vegetables, fruits, beans, and seeds. So delicious. Compare this to most other lunch places, where most of the food is just cheap stuff like dough or rice or potatoes. Energize is so much higher quality -- sooooo much better than your average lunch. I'd eat there every day if I could. Brighton and Newton are extremely lucky to have this place.

Amazing salads and smoothies. Highly recommend, especially for those with dietary modifications ??

Nothing special. Lacked flavor and any sort of wow factor. Also it was pretty warm. I would like a smoothie to be cold when I drink it. The price did not match to quality. A waste of money.

Friendly service. Healthy smoothies and bowls. Takes some time if ordering in store.Ordering:People are greeted with a friendly smile as they enter, as long as the staff isn't occupied with making an order. Most orders appear to be to go. If you're looking to dine in, there are 6 window seats, 5 bench tables, and 2 tables in the middle. It does take some time to make a smoothie bowl even when there is no one else there, a little over 5 minutes, so don't expect to be in and out unless you order ahead.Food:The acai bowl is good. The acai smoothie is sweet and slightly tart. The bananas and strawberries on top were fresh and ripe, although you only get about a single strawberry sliced up. Their granola is very crunchy. It has something crisped mixed in it that isn't in the description.I've also tried the goji berry bowl, which was good too. The toppings are a nice variety and plentiful.Dislike:The super acai bowl was not a great experience for me. I personally recommend avoiding anything with whole goji berries, ones that aren't blended. The goji berries are unbelievably tough because they use dried goji berries that aren't presoaked. Goji berries are normally dried because they aren't easily available fresh. Less than half was crispy and a little hard, but the majority were really hard to comfortably bite into. If you do manage to bite into them, they then stick to your teeth when you bite into them.Restroom:There is a clean restroom to wash up in.Parking:There is free 2 hour parking all around on Washington St and other streets. This area doesn't have parking meters.

I've written a few reviews on Yelp (all complaints). As the saying goes- most people who post are folks who had a negative experience. I just finished eating two and a half pita pockets - that's a lot for me. After I ate one of them, I had to try half of the one with tofu in it. They were both delicious. However, I don't like kale unless it's sauteed; I loved it in these pita sandwiches. I also got a tonic for my stomach- cayenne, lemon, and ginger- so good for gut health. This place has everything I've always wanted, and they deliver. I'm head over heels in love with the quality of the food. This was the first of many meals I plan to order from Energize. Simply the best.

I like this place! Gives me all "sweet green" vibes. It has a lot of healthy options and ability to customize your order to your preferences. I'm so happy with this healthier option available in the area. Recommend!

I genuinely wonder why there isn't MORE of these kind of smoothie/fresh/healthy food places in Boston? regardless, I'm incredibly lucky to have Energize so close to the gym I go to. My only gripe is that the food is slightly over priced... and then I remember that's literally EVERYTHING these days. Regardless, I'm happy to support a great place like Energize.

Second time here, really fun concept, delicious fresh food, and a good bargain.Tired of fatty and pesticide/germ-infested animal foods, and pizza.I hope more people try this place out right in Oak Square.Yum!

Very yummy. Best salad I’ve had around here. Hard to find good vegetarian options sometimes so I’m glad to find this one.
