Stopped here for brunch with our 7 year old granddaughter who enjoyed herself immensely! The service was very courteous and fast. The pizza margherita was nice and crispy, the fried calamari was delicious and the banana bread pudding was scrumptious! Our server David went above and beyond and got my granddaughter a maraschino cherry to top off the meal. What a lovely experience at Eva!

I went there for brunch with a friend this past weekend, and I would highly recommend. David was our server, and David provided great recommendations, was very accommodating, and answered all our questions. We had no faults for the food. The special that day of lamb cannelloni was tender and well seasoned. Pasta was cooked to perfection. The çilbir (Turkish eggs) were also a highlight with chili crisps and warm pita for dipping. I highly recommend the house-made ginger beer with hibiscus. I would visit again

Had a delicious dinner and the service was great! The spinach artichoke dip was well seasoned and creamy. The salmon with squid ink and calamari was awesome. The salmon had perfectly crispy skin and the calamari in the risotto was perfectly cooked. Will be back!

if you’re coming to Boston be sure to add this to your itinerary!! adorable atmosphere and the FOOD!!! perfectly portioned and absolutely delicious. I had the gnocchi and a couple of drinks off of the menu as well as an affogato—I seriously don’t think you can go wrong with the menu. So chic and the waitstaff was SO kind. We had Eric and he was an amazing server. So attentive and let us stay and enjoy our meal and company until well past close. I am already looking forward to going back!!

From the gentleman who greeted us at the door and walked us in, to the busboy, & our waitress -- all were wonderful, accommodating, smiling and seemed happy to work there. The food was awesome. The Bolognese w/pappardelle was scrumptious, and the Braised Short Rib (deboned) on tender delicious gnocci swimming in a thick cream sauce from heaven was truly wonderful. Their home-made ginger beer is the best I've had since I had some years ago in Balham, south London. I can't remember the name of the delicious, very rich, dessert my wife and I split (we were happily stuffed by that time) but it was a square of dense chocolate topped with a tasty white cream which had nuts and something like peanut brittle in it! What a nice way to finish a superb meal! EVA on Newbury St Boston is well worth the visit. A tad pricey, but man does the kitchen ever know what they're doing.
Eva has the best staff and owner! Unbeknownst to me, my 6 year old daughter left her necklace there on our initial visit in January. We loved the food and so went back in March. The owner approached me with her necklace. So kind and thoughtful!
