Keep in mind it's a neighborhood bar... but, for a neighborhood bar, it's really enjoyable. Food is tasty. The drinks (cordial license only) are a creative treat. Enjoyed it as much the second time as the first.

The menu had a great selection of comfort food classics with a creative twist, and everything we tried was delicious. I started with the buffalo cauliflower appetizer, which was crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. For my main course, I had the braised short rib, and it was absolutely amazing - the meat was tender and flavorful, and the mashed potatoes served alongside were creamy and delicious.

Beer list is excellent. Chicken tenders are made in-house and are some of the best in the city.

The place was amazing. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were a delight. Had the avocado taco. Also, the chicken sandwich with the seasoning& fresh tomatoes was good.Vegetarian options: Cucumber Slices!

The place has been going downhill. Food is getting worse, steak is gone, cheesecake is gone. Literally the two things I’d go there for. Not what it used to be, unfortunately.

Food was okay but the brunch is far more expensive than a pub should be, like significantly more than other fancier restaurants in the south end. But the portions are large at least.

Had an amazing dinner at the bar with my sister last night. Skillet cornbread was moist and perfect with a nice honey butter to complement. We shared the fried chicken salad and enjoyed an avocado and smoked chicken taco. The chicken is a bit spicy to be aware. The service was perfect and a lively atmosphere. But the best thing to highlight is the integrity of the staff. After paying for dinner, i must have put my scarf and wallet on my lap and then put on my coat. When I called tonight, Brooke was so helpful, they had found the wallet And my scarf and put it in a safe place! Imagine my surprise when picking it up tonight that ALL of the cash was still in the wallet. That alone, but in combination with wonderful food, service, value and ambiance makes this a true winner in the South End!

Great cocktails, good vibes, and extensive beer list with fair prices. However, the food is average at best and the service is really hit or miss. If going, highly recommend sitting at the bar as the service is more reliably good.
