The a la carte hibachi is by far their best offering there so if you're going, make sure you go for their hibachi. The first time I went there I had it mild spice since my colleagues had limited spice tolerance. On my last visit with my friend, I had it extra spicy and it dramatically improve the taste and flavor. The pea pod stem was really good as well but other traditional Chinese dishes were just average or slightly below average. It's pricier than other nearby Chinese restaurants so unless I'm going for hibachi I would rather go to other places. For traditional Chinese, it's hard to beat Jade Garden.

Go for: No frills, multi-region Chinese food with a huge menu.Avoid if: You need to be pampered when you go out to eat.Something surprising: The live seafood that's available. Oh, and there's a second floor.Reservation needed? No, but you might have to wait a few minutes.Overall . This place has an incredible menu and all of the dishes are executed well. You're not going to be treated like a VIP when coming here, but the food is worth it. It would be great if they restored and cleaned up the interior of the place a little bit, but it has a certain Chinatown charm to it.Value for Price: 3Sanitation: 3Food Quality: 4Menu Precision: 2Service Quality: 3Timing: 4Decor: 2Access: 3—5 among the best4 strong3 not too bad2 mediocre1 never again

Simply incredible food. I highly recommend the Sichuan Diced Chicken with Chili Peppers. The fry coating on the chicken is super thin and crispy and was perfect. The flavor was spot on, nice and spicy, and there was so much of it. I also got the Sichuan Style Double Cooked Pork and it was great as well, but the chicken was just incredible. The menu is gigantic with so many things I'd want to try, so I'll definitely be coming back sometime. The service was admittedly in the slow side, but I'll give them a pass because it was Chinese New Year and they seemed understaffed. The atmosphere was nothing exciting. Simple, no frills, but it doesn't need anything else.

Had hot and sour soup and spicy fish dry pot. Soup was your regular run of the mill that you would get any other Chinese restaurants. My main reason to go there was to try the spicy fish. I was utterly disappointed. While it had a good flavor and spice level, the fish itself was very tough and over cooked. While ordering I was told that it is not served deep fried and it's just stir fried. What came out was a dish that was deep fried and then stir fried! It was as tough as an over cooked breaded chicken. Not happy!!

In the middle of Chinatown in Boston, this place is offering the best Chinese food. I was in for lunch, portions are big, prices are low and the food was fantastic. Had to take home some food though....

Not so many places know how to make Tea Smoke Duck. It's not Peking Duck buy a cousin. The aroma, the saltiness of spices versus the sweet taste of duck meat. If you had never tried one, you didn't know what you had been missing. The dry selection, by you, of what you want to eat, and how much, is a good concept (sold by weight, pound). The chef will prepare the way you like it. If you were not alone, this is a way to share, your love, and intimacy.

I got delivery from here one night. I should've taken pics but completely forgot. The delivery was average timed and well-packaged. The food still arrived warm so it was fresh and promptly sent. It was all really good though. I got the eggplant in garlic sauce, chicken n broccoli, fried rice, and salt n pepper squid. We crisped up the squid in the air fryer since it got a little steamed in the container. It was a little pricey but not crazy at all, esp for delivery. I'd definitely order from here again.

Ordered Take Out and staff was really nice.Egg Fried Rice was quite sad. Very plain no soy sauce or other flavorings ? just literally egg and riceHot and Spicy Fish Fillet was very flavorful but perhaps not the best for takeout. I will dine in next time so the fish stays crispy.

The lunch special is a really good deal because they give you enough portions of tasty food. However, they were cleaning the windows next booth to us while we were eating and smelling the cleaner.Parking: Very hard to find. It's better park in the garage.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility.

Food: Decent but there's been a definite dip in quality. Not worth it for the price of the dishes.Service: Staff held us hostage for a tip. Said stuff like "everyone tips here". We couldn't write in custom tips and she insisted the restaurant had 3 choices: 12%, 18% and 21% and that we could only choose one out of the 3. Would not recommend. There are better places in Chinatown at lower price points
