TL;DR: Udon place with lots of variety of cold and hot noodles, and so good!Stopped by here for a quick bite for dinner and was very impressed. I had never had cold udon noodles before, and it was great!Interior is cute with some nice decor and plenty of seating. Service was nice, quick, and attentive.FOOD:~Cold Uni Udon (5/5): Cold dish! I love uni and ikura, so this hit the spot. The broth/sauce was a dashi flavor. Mixed it all up and was the perfect balance of umami and salty. The coldness of the dish really ensured the integrity of the udon noodles, and they were so perfectly chewy~Sukiyaki Udon (5/5): Hot dish! Tasted like hot pot! The beef was very tender and had a decent amount of cabbaged that was perfectly braised. I loved this dish. This is definitely a must try!

Delicious udon at a somewhat high, yet reasonable price point! We got the creamy uni udon and the pork kimchi udon. For both, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup base was delicious! There was a generous serving of uni and pork, and noodles were plentiful!

It is a somewhat creative Japanese restaurant. It mainly sells udon noodles of various flavors, both hot and cold. There are many unique flavors. You can order eggs alone or add noodles. If you don’t want to eat udon, there are rice bowls and curry rice to choose from. There are also side dishes such as fried food and takoyaki. There is a special price of udon noodles at noon on weekdays, which is about $2 cheaper than the normal price. This time we ordered three flavors: beef sukiyaki, truffle beef, and nanban duck. The udon noodles are served in large bowls, but the ingredients are relatively small. The nanban duck flavor only has duck breast and green onions, which makes it a bit monotonous. In addition, I ordered a piece of fried chicken. Although it was a chicken leg, it was sliced thinly. The skin was not thick and not crispy. It was quite special.

Uni udon is really creamy and tastes good and the sukiyaki udon contains tofu, egg, beef and veggies. Fried chicken is good as well. Overall I like the food here but if you come in the dinner time on the weekend, probably need to wait for a while because they don’t accept reservations and it’s quite popular.

Absolutely delicious udon dishes, very highly recommended! I had the uni cream udon, and the rich and creamy broth complemented the uni, crab, and roe very well. Would definitely love to come back again to try more of their dishes!

Great solid choice for udon in Boston. This place is pretty small and they have you in and out of there pretty quickly. Not a great place to linger with friends - they we’ve food hot and quick. My udon was very flavorful and filling, I’ll be back.

Service was great, but food was just ok. We only liked half of the items we tried. One udon came with flavorful broth and the second had bland broth. Menu options are limited. Also, there was a small fly in my udon broth on a piece of cabbage. Not worth the $19 for the udon bowl.
