I miss this place. Cute little breakfast joint in Charlestown. Close walk from home at the time and constantly delivered fresh food. No frills, friendly staff and hits the spot. Grasshopper, you are doing something right. Bravo!

While visiting Boston, a friend suggested the Grasshopper Cafe. From there, I ate my breakfast there for my entire visit. The corned beef hash is delicious. They serve the hash cubed, not ground, for a tasty bite. Excellent pancakes and real maple syrup can be had if you ask. What more can be said of breakfast? Everyone was friendly. Regulars were friendly and included me in conversations. The wait staff was on their game. Parking was a little difficult, but I really didn't have problems finding a spot. Give the Grasshopper Cafe a try.

Big fan of this establishment the breakfast is clutch. I'm a huge fan of the breakfast burrito and the home fries are out of this world! My only real complaint is I find this place to be a little on the high side when it comes to prices but when the budget allows it's a great treat!

Super good food great people the townie toast with bananas is my favorite. Locally owned and operated. Cheap prices too definitely worth going to.

Just went for breakfast and it was as usual- delicious!! And the ruunors aren't true- they are not closing or retiring or any of that nonsense... put it back on your Sunday to do list

Excellent service even though they were busy. Food was made just like I ordered. It’s a very nice place for breakfast located in a nice quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

A great neighborhood cafe where everyone knows each other. Food was great. Had the steak and eggs with toast and home fries. Was my first visit to this great home cooking cafe and will be back every time I'm in the area

Eggs were made just like I like them, perfectly over easy. Bacon perfect. Great coffee. Excellent service by Kelly Mahoney. And staff.

We got here almost 40 minutes before they closed and they refused to seat us. We'll never be back to a place that does that. The food can't possibly worth being treated like that. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Great breakfast! Great staff!

The best breakfast spot for all townies like me. I have IBS and honestly get sick everywhere. My daughter only brings me here because nothing hurts after eating! however, the owners are going to close this joint so I'll have to live with my hurt stomach forever. SAD.
