Absolutely a spot worth trying, the food is awesome and well prepared, the pricing is reasonable and it is constantly well kept in here. Fantastic work.

This is another one of those sandwich shops that feels like a lot more than just a sandwich shop. You can tell from the inventiveness of the menu and the attention to detail and personal service that the owner/manager is putting so much of himself into the operation. (I recently overheard him discoursing with another customer about his Sunday evening cookie baking routine). Their prices are competitive or better than the other downtown sandwich shops, but the choices are far superior, from conventional club sandwiches to really interesting and delicious Asian/fusion sandwiches and great breakfast sandwiches. They are fast, courteous and their food is delicious.

Try the piggy menu, it's amazing! This is pork Bulgogi. You can order it sweet or spicy, depending on your taste. The location is convenient, I'll definitely come again!! highly recommend, worth-a-try

This is my go to place to get breakfast before work. They are local, friendly and make quick, fresh, homemade food at a fair price. The breakfast burrito is my favorite. They have amazing, enormous muffins. The lunch time menu is also fresh, big portions and a nice escape from the fast food options. The guys who work there know people's names and orders. They really make this place standout. I Definitely feel good about getting food here instead of one of the chain places that pollute downtown.

One of the best sandwich spots in DTX. Incredibly kind staff, phenomenal sandwiches, and you get to support local business! Cannot go wrong here; whether it is the Porky's Dream (OR Nightmare), the Green Monstah, or the Sirachin... all are excellent.

Service was prompt and very friendly. If you order one of the Korean entrees, it came with a small salad and a soup. Porky's dream ($11.50) was the non spicy version of Porky's Nightmare. It was decent, but not something that I would order again.

Best quick lunch spot in the area. I've worked all over DTX, but currently have the privilege of being right in the 101 Arch building, allowing easy access to Grass Roots for breakfast and lunch whenever I'd like. The menu has a lot of variety, which is great. The turkey reuben is my go-to, but I have enjoyed many of the wraps and salads as well.Keep an eye out for their fresh chocolate chip cookies, which are amazing warm (if you miss them warm, stick them in your office microwave for 20 seconds and thank me later). Everything is fresh, made to order, made quickly, and it is all topped off with wonderfully friendly service.

Very good. The Korean fusion dishes are excellent. Highly recommend for lunch and comes with a small soup. Good staff too! So happy it's in my building

Got the East West pig . . very disappointed! It was so fatty, I had to deconstruct and trim all the fat. Will not return.

This place is hands down the most thoughtfully healthy and nourishing place in the region. If you don't want to compromise your health and enjoy something that truly nourishes your body, then come to check this place out and sample whatever you fancy! I've had pretty much most of their dishes, muffins, and take-away salads and each time, I am blown away by the high quality of all of it. For example, today, I ran in to get some of their tuna avocado salad for take away. When I went home, I dished some out on my plate and noticed that each avocado slice was perfectly ripe, the tuna chunks were of high fresh quality and the onions were super fresh as was the cilantro. They must make their stuff daily. Also, the venue is quite small and can get a little busy but it is still a great place to meet up with a friend, grab a quick coffee to touch base or enjoy the space for a while. I highly recommend their healthy steamer drink which is a wonderful concoction of ginger and other fresh items to make a frothy alternative to that P.M. coffee :)

Love love love this place! Grass Roots has been in my lunch rotation for a while now for good reason. The food is really great, and while the prices are similar to many other Boston lunch spots I genuinely feel like you get a lot more for your buck. Plus, I always feel good coming in here instead of a chain because the owner is so, so nice. If you haven't come in yet, you're missing out!
