Hidden in an alleyway is an otherworldly bar that is like no other. Step into a deep cavern like entrance where you are whisked away to your spellcaster (bartender) and his assistants. Isaias crafts drinks with an almost caressing hand and is extremely knowledgeable. Sitting at the bar is watching an actual magic show. Between crafting beverages and explaining where and how each ingredient is obtained, you truly feel the magic of Hecate in the air.On the floor, Jesus and Andy are so sweet with ensuring you stay hydrated and add to the experience with their hospitality. The bar snacks were quick to arrive and quick to be devoured. Presentation is everything and it doesn’t disappoint. The glassware, the dishwater, everything is carefully selected to enhance the experience.If you go no where else is Boston, GO HERE! Make sure you arrive early. With selective seating (24) to make the underground space more intimate, it fills fast. Upon leaving, I saw a few unfortunate souls that weren’t able to get in. Pricing is a good average of $20-25 which is well worth the experience you get.Thank you for a wonderful birthday experience!

Atmosphere is good and the bar tender was really knowledgeable. Each drink is very unique and has a story to go with that the bar tender’s will tell you. Good place for 2 people to go but not many more. We had 4 and it took about 30 min to get seated. Very small place.

What a fun experience . We decided to go last nite on a whim later in the nite . They had a cancellation list which we joined and luckily we got in towards the end of the nite. Rose let us enjoy a round of cocktails in the waiting room and then we were seated . The cocktails are out of this world. Go check this place out for yourself . You won’t regret it .

What an amazing timeI went there Saturday nite with my friends and we had an amazing time. We had unique cocktails starting in the waiting area with rose and then we continued our experience inside. There was a bit of a wait but it was so worth it. Highly recommend coming early to put your name on the list. Can’t wait to go back again in the future .

This place is sick! The staff are super knowledgeable and take pride in their profession. Rose and Jasmine such welcoming people and are very easy to talk to if you're waiting for your seats. The nibbles they have to offer are very tasty; Cocktails however are the star of the show here. If you're a cocktail enthusiast, want to impress friends, and enjoy an otherworldly scenery I encourage you to visit Hecate

Went there Saturday night for a galentines and it was an amazing experience. The drinks were great and the food was phenomenal. What topped it all off was how amazing our host Rose was. I hope I see her everytime I come by.

It’s extremely inconvenient that they don’t take any reservations, but that’s not even the reason for my low rating. Despite all the hurdles, like getting in line before the opening time, waiting in that line for 45 mins to put our name down, and dropping everything to rush over there in 10 mins as soon as we got the text message that our table was ready, it was a total disappointment. Don’t waste your time, not worth the hype at all

I’ve waited for 45 min. From 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm to put our name down. They weren’t able to provide a time frame, which was understandable. Then at 8:30 pm we received a message saying that our table is ready, we selected “1” as a response which indicates that we are going to be there.We went to the place and we were there after 21 minutes of receiving the text message. They didn’t let us in because we weren’t there within the first 15 minutes. We spent the whole night waiting for this and their customer service is horrible!

This place is ridiculous. We waited in the line for 30 minutes to put our name at 5:30 pm for a table for the night. They just sent you text anytime your table is ready. We waited all night and received a text at 8:30 pm. We run back to the place and we were there in 20 minutes but they give away our table because you only have 15 minutes grace period after the text message. There is no way to have a drink at this place without spending your all afternoon and evening waiting for them. This absolutely ridiculous and they are certainly not worth this effort. I would just go get a drink in a better speakeasy in the town. This is absolutely ridiculous and can’t believe we wasted all this time for making a reservation and waiting gor them. Avoid this place at all costs until they get their act together.
