The ambiance was really nice, friendly patrons, attentive staff and the kareoke dj until 10pm was amazing. The one afterward was way too loud and disconnected from the patrons. They have pub food, which I'd rate as 3 stars. They messed up my drink order but were quick to remedy it.I'd go back for another fun night of kareoke!

Love the chicken teriyaki on a stick, the Asian karaoke girl stays using that time as her moment, and turning down mic for black people.

If you have one bit of personality they won’t let you in. They’ll tell you you’ve drank too much. Yeah. From two drinks, Angela from SF.Just want you to know my money would shut your place down. thank you

People at the door think they’re protecting the president. Denied with valid ids. If you’re 17 - 20 you might get in.

This bar holds a special spot in my heart. Karaoke is fun and they don’t rip you off like many bars in Boston will! I love when they walk around with chicken on a stick.

I visited the Hong Kong while staying in Massachusetts on business in 2002. Boy was I amazed that a Chinese restaurant had a bar and after hours dance floor in the back. I enjoyed my early evenings there a few times round about the jukebox jamming to Carlos Santana drinking awell-made White Russians. The staff are great, the people are down to earth, a real treat any day of the week.

Unsafe for trans people!!!!My friend was just trying to use the bathroom and the bouncer wouldn’t let her in because she “wasn’t a real woman.” We obviously left immediately, and the bouncer outdoors asked why she was sobbing, told her it didn’t sound like anything to cry about, and immediately tried to bum a cigarette off of her (the same bouncer repeatedly called after as us we were trying to leave)Cannot emphasize enough that this is a mediocre bar staffed by bigoted douches and gross men (except the coat check woman she was very very sweet to us)

This place is really shady they tried to tell us we had to pay a 45% tip. Are hill was 97 and we put 120 down excepting to get change. When we tried to bring it to the staffs attention we were ignored, after 30 min we left. DO NOT GO

What can I say it's a Rite of Passage for every freshman college kid and anyone trying to reminisce about the old days. Cheap drinks for downtown Boston and fun

I’ve been here a few times and the karaoke is fun! However, on a particularly cold night (below freezing) the bouncer decided to single out one of my friends (out of a group of over 10 people) and decide he was too drunk to come into the bar. I noted it was below freezing because my friend wears contacts and in the cold he gets particularly bloodshot eyes. Our whole group is in our mid twenties and was buzzed if anything. The bouncer went on a total power trip and singled out my friend, claiming he was too drunk to come inside. We had maximum 2 drinks at another bar before arriving. This was the most disrespectfully I’ve ever been treated by a bouncer before. We were quietly waiting in line (in 17 degrees mind you). This was completely unfounded and the Hong Kong lost out on at least $30 in cover fees from our group. I will never go back here. This was extremely disrespectful on the part of the bouncer.
