This place is the perfect bar in Boston to go grab some beers with your co workers or friends. The cheapest beer in town. I got 3 beers for $24!! The place is cozy and the service was fast and great.

No food here. We went to check it out for a pats game and the nice bartender said they don't serve food anymore. It's a legit straight up bar with probably 5 locals so that's that. 5 stars cause the bartender recommended a great pub that served food. Boston!

No food on a Thursday at 7pm. Place kind of stank. Probably not a place I’d head back to.

This bar is a true standout in the city's nightlife. The ambiance is inviting, and the staff's warm welcome made me feel right at home. The bartenders are true masters of their craft, mixing cocktails that are both innovative and delicious. The drink menu is a journey of flavors, offering a variety of options that cater to different tastes. The attention to detail, from the presentation to the taste, is remarkable. Whether you're a cocktail enthusiast or a casual drinker, this bar is a must-visit for a memorable night out.

They stopped serving food during the pandemic and still haven’t updated their website. We went out of our way to eat there when we were in town only to learn they only serve drinks.

We came in town for a Bruins game and fell into this great bar on accident. Can not recommend this bar enough!! The food was amazing and so generous in portions. The drinks were delicious. It was a welcoming environment and of we are ever back in town will be making it a point to stop back in.

My first time visiting JJ Folley restaurant was the day before St. Patrick’s Day this year of 2023. I sat back and watched this waiter “hustle” with a “friendly smile” on his face to all the customers he was serving, and was impressed by the way he handled everything. At the end of my stay, I asked to speak to the manager……And, when I did, I found out the gentleman’s name was Mike( the owners son) and it was his father, who owns the restaurant. “ Kudos to Mike” for providing us “excellent service” and I most definitely will come back again when I’m in the Boston area. Thank you Mike and family! ~~ Lisa (Rhode Island).

What a great place and hidden gem no matter which location you visit. They don't make them like this anymore!

THE definition of an old school Irish pub. This is a local for those in the know and the lucky few that find it by accident. Family owned and operated for generations. These places are sadly passing away. But Foleys is as strong as ever. Buy local, spend local, and enjoy.
