I got a doubles. The look, is emblematic of Trinidad doubles, but the taste was not quite there. I did not try the roti therefore could not comment on that.

The Best Roti in Boston. Because they are the best and their hours are so limited, they are always busy and crowded. Never call, just go in and place your order. I find that the wait time is a lot less. Wait time can range from 15 to 30. Don't go there if you are in rush. I assure you they are not playing around back there. Those employees are back there working and literally going as fast as they possibly can.The roti is so delicious, I been going to them for the last 8 years. I will never go anywhere else.Highly recommend.

Their doubles are on point. The best I’ve had in Boston . Weird process to tell one person what you want then go to the other dude to collect & pay but it works. They are friendly and relatively fast. The food serving area is always clean.

Shrimp/chicken with everything roti including pumpkin, oh soooo good. I shared one with my husband and couldn't get enough so an hour later I went back to get my own but they was sold out. Agh! and because they don't open every day, I had to wait 3 whole days and guess what? When I got my own I was happy as a . The best roti(s)

When I first started coming to JP Roti a few years back, my roti was no more than $9.00 with a decent sized portion. The service was always horrible and no matter how far ahead you call, you always have to wait. I continued going because the food was worth the wait.I recently visited about two weeks ago. Called in 45 minutes ahead before arriving and my order still wasn’t ready. I noticed the prices have jumped to about $12.00 which I still wouldn’t mind paying if the food is worth it it but I noticed the roti sizes are now half of what you would get before. I watched them make several rotis including mine and they literally counted out 4 shrimp for a shrimp roti and half of serving spoon portions for other ingredients. In complete disbelief, it walked out and went across to Raphael’s and got a tire plate of stewed chicken rice and peas with steamed veggies for less money. JP has officially lost me as a customer! Between the wait, the service with an attitude, the portions and the heightened prices, I’m all set!
