I have been told by many locals that La Befana is the place for pizza in Allston. We went inside to order rather than ordering ahead so we could see the full menu, specials and talk to the staff in the traditional feeling pizza parlor. Everyone recommended the garlic knots so we ordered those along with a pizza. The pizza was great! However the garlic knots weren't made exactly how we expected, but did come with a dipping sauce that definitely enhanced the flavor. Will definitely be ordering the pizza from La Befana again!

They have great pizza. Hands down. But this point their prices are outrageously to high. A medium pizza that's big enough to feed my 12yr. Old and leave me maybe two for myself should not cost $29.00. A large is $35.00.

This had been our go to place for pizza BUT they have drastically changed...maybe they are under new ownership or something. Ordered a large cheese pizza and two burgers. The large pizza had always been a square pizza with a slightly thicker crust and it was fabulous. The pizza we received was a very thin crust and round. The hamburgers made us ill and to add to it the delivery service took so long to deliver the order that everything was COLD. We will be going back to our other pizza place even though they are more expensive as it always arrives hot and ready to eat.

My favorite in the area- crazy bang for your buck. XL Pepperoni cooked well-done every time. Garlic knots will give you a new look on life. Specialty za’s are pricey but worth trying- BBQ chicken & friends very yummy.

I love this spot, it’s a hidden gem ?. The slices are HHUGE!!! I work at the Stop ? Shop, but, I’ve been on Leave since March. And I still have my GF bring me Pizza ? home!!!!!
Pizzas fine. Customer service is awful. 2 full hours for delivery. Pizza never came. Owner kept telling me it was 3rd party delivery. I ordered from their website so even if true it's their delivery service. Hung up on me when I complained. Like I said pizzas fine, but just as good anywhere else. Will never order again.
