I walked in and had to say hello first MYSELF... they looked right at me in disgust and didn't say hi. I don't care what language you primarily speak if you have a business in America then treat your (black) American customers with respect and greet them when they walk in. It was two girls. They also seemed like they way pressed because I had plastic surgery or something. Literally rolled their eyes ... didn't even wait until my transaction was complete before leaving away from the counter. No "have a good day:)" or "is that all you need?". Keep all that negative hater nasty attitude energy at home before you come into work. I see why you have 3 stars! And this was APRIL 10th 2024. So go back and watch your cameras if you wanna know who this is. Not my fault you stand behind a counter all day mad.

Yo ordene un chimi, lo cosineros se la pasaron en musica y hablando mas que trabajan. El chimi con la carne sobre quemada y con queso americano.I ordered a beef chimi and the meat was nearly burnt rubber, the chefs were talking and being distracted messed up my sandwich, let alone put yellow american cheese on a chimi.Never coming here again completely disgusted with the quality. The women upfront were polite and i wholeheartedly respect that and their service.Its the cooks that didnt do their job.

I haven’t eaten much Dominican food, but I thought it was a delicious ham and cheese sandwich on that amazing crispy and flaky Latin American bread.One sandwich is also big enough to split between two people unless you are starving.Desserts -flan, tres leches, looked good though I didn’t get any.
La esquina = the corner, solid name for dominican street food placeMidnight ordered from here on doordash. Awesome stuff guys. Got the chimi (Dominican burger. chimi = chimichurri, thats a sauce in mexico but its a burger en Dominicana) w/ bacon & the completo. Everything was top notch, burger had great texture, cabbage had a snap to it, bacon was THICK. The completo was completo with both pulled chicken & pulled pork (no lie) & ham to boot. Good prices.Honestly I don't know why more people dont know about this place. on par with the great mike n pattys. Very upsetting! I will tell all my friends about it

The food @this place is awesome but service is HORRIBLE.. l get my order messed up most of time and last night was my last time placing an order. I called specifically requested a Cheese Club Sand., made it loud & clear NO HAM, NO CHICKEN NO MEAT! When my fiance went to pick up the order, what l got? A club sand.full of chicken. We wnt back to get the right order since it was NOT cheap BTW, and l got a plain cheese sand. W/no fries..but yet paid 30$ for the nasty mess and a regular cheese sand. What a rip off..l wont recommend this place @ALL. No THANKS!.. All we got was an apology.. Im GOOD!
