Awesome place in the Newbury area. Their cakes are so full of flavors yet so light. The place is always busy but service is very fast - you won’t have to wait for more than 5 minutes. Had the pistachio, tiramisu and the checkers - the first 2 were especially good.

Champagne cake - totally NOT worth it for $17+ per slice. Tastes like a strawberry cake about to go bad.Very very disappointed as it is the most expensive cake slice I’ve gotten and one of the worst I’ve had. Their other ones are better.

I think when you're getting a crepe cake, you really want an excuse to eat cream, and Lady M satisfies there. It's nice, but so much cream... My personal preference would be for it to be a tiny bit less sweet and more flavor (I had the pistachio). At $11.50 a slice, it is a nice treat!

Absolutely love Lady M! I had to stop by while in Boston. Service was great and quick. My checkers slice was perfect, not too sweet and consistent just how I remember! My friend enjoyed her strawberry slice.
Their pastries are freaking amazing here and the service is always great. I highly recommend any one of baked good if you have a sweet tooth like mines.

Today my girlfriend and I went to Newberry Street for another bakery. That store was closed, so we decided to try out [store name].Boy was this a bigger disappointment than the prematurely closed store. There was a line of people inside, so we figured the product should be good. We figured wrong.The product is overpriced at $11 for a small piece of cake. I think the store must spend more on their packaging than the cake itself. We ordered one slice of the passion fruit cake. Though the flavor was acceptable, the texture was unlike anything I have voluntarily experienced in my life. Imagine a gelatinous slime patty.. like those candy burgers you get at Halloween but frothy and curdled. That is a lacking description of what we experienced. The texture was not even close to that of a crepe, even one covered in frosting or jelly. It was so homogenized that I couldn’t tell there were layers at all, other than by looking and the “slices” of crepe were so smooshed together that I couldn’t help but feel that something was off about it. I don’t know if it was made the day before or frozen, but it was bizarre. My girlfriend laughed when we threw the rest of the tiny slice away, joking that there goes $6!I don’t claim to be a crepe cake expert, but there’s no way this is the same crepe cake that was a viral sensation a few years ago. The internet suggests that a crepe cake should feel almost like custard. This was definitely was too slimy to be described as any custard I know and love.
