I love legal seafood but.. lobster bisque with out lobster is just water). Plus crakers instead of bread rolls is just sad. I hope it was a fluke.

It is a classic place to visit in Boston, the food is excellent, the Scottish Salmon is delicious, the lobster roll is equally delicious and abundant.

I rarely give poor reviews, and I love legal seafood as a company, but this location has an odd practice where they will not accept reservations or walk-ins, even when they have space, during peak dinner hours. I understand reservations being filled up and not being able to accommodate, but I don’t understand not allowing walk-ins when there are seats available the bar. Definitely not the level of service I’ve come to expect from a company like legal seafoods.

Came for lunch at the bar. Ordered the lunch special with the lobster roll and asked for salad to be subbed for the fries and salad. No problem, the bartender said. Food came- no salad. The lobster was dry as heck. Not tender, neither warm nor cold, just dry. The fries were mushy. I asked for my salad, he said sure, and 15 minutes later it never arrived. But that didn't stop him from charging me $7 on my bill- and then trying to explain it as "how you place the order" when I called him on it. Damn, what's happened to this chain? I want my $36 back.

Wow has this place gone downhill. Dreadful service, with high prices for mediocre food and small portions. I used to love Legal’s. Alas, no more.

Horrible experience. Service was terrible. Staff were totally unhelpful. Service was non existence. Food was cold. Would NEVER go there again, and I live 3 blocks away and brought visitors and was embarrassed to death. Worst meal and dining experience I've ever had. Has completely gone down hill. It was a nightmare from the moment I stepped in the door and just got worse. Staff is totally untrained. The manager wasn't even there they all said. She just “stepped out”! Do NOT GO to this restaurant!

We dine at Legals fairly often, but this is the first at Park Plaza. It felt a little bit like chaos and no one was steering the ship. We sat there for a while before even given water and was told our server would be coming. After a good long time someone did come, but they did not seem thrilled to take our order. A bit surprised given the location.
I was ignored for the first 10 minutes. Then had 3 different waiters come over in the span of 5 minutes to see if I had been helped yet. Don't order the clam flatbread. It wa salty, greasy and soggy.
We made a reservation at 4pm and it took about 45 minutes for a server to see us. Apparently they forgot about us. Our entrees arrived at different times and had been sitting under the warming lights for a while. Overall not the experience we are used to with Legal Seafood.

The best New England seafood in Boston. Fairly priced outstanding fresh seafood with excellent service. The restaurant a luxurious atmosphere in the heart of Boston. Parking garage is required most of the time. The best lobster roll I've had!

Service was extraordinary. Omar was amazing! I have Celiac disease and Omar put me at ease as well as wowing my wife and daughter. Manager was so friendly when I inadvertently got Sweet potato mashed with my meal. She made me ecstatic when she brought me jasmine rice. 5 Stars will definitely return!

Great hostees welcome! Very busy evening but they handled our table of 5. I was going to get the mediterrian swordfish but ended up ordering the twin stuffed lobster tails and OMG. The stuffing is something Ive never had before, even from my favorite place! The size of the scallops in the stuffing were big and it was yummy. Cannot wait to go again!
