When visiting a French restaurant expectations are high. The food tends to be exquisite and some dishes are here. The Foie Gras is amazing and so are all the deserts we tried. However the escargot which is something I always try at French restaurants was only ok.The service varies on who your server is as we had friends who came to the restaurant after we sat and we ordered before they even got their menus and yet they had their appetizers first. When looking for someone to call for a refill and even when we wanted the menus for desert, it is very difficult to catch anyone looking at your table as if each waiter will only look at their own table only. On the bright side they brought us water as soon as we sat and refilled it often. That is how I would get someone's attention...finish my water so someone could come by and I could ask for something. The place is very small and you will have to be a party of two and be lucky to get a table without a reservation, which is what happened with our friends..who came in a little after we sat and were hoping they could sit with us, but with such little space it seemed unlikely they would even be able to get a table but as they were asking a table for two was leaving. Its rather on the expensive side which can be understood with the quality of some of the dishes, however I would except everything to be great for these prices. Its a good place with potential to be great.

A nice choice, for people who are looking for French cuisine, nothing to do with high quality French food, it an acceptable quality, not more for my opinion. For Gluten Free, they are offering an onion soup, which very hard to find.I was expecting for better

It’s a French bistro that’s perfect for a date or gathering with friends! Except that the steak was too dry that day, everything else was great! I’m so sad that I didn’t get the soufflé But the restaurant was closing, and while we were taking photos, the clerk came to help us turn on the lights ! Everyone must remember to book a table in advance to avoid missing out!

Delicious gastronomic experience… The cocktails are very good. Delighted with what we ordered from the menu: perfectly gratin onion soup, garlic snails, succulent lobster cream, duck leg and beef rib in sauce. Very good attention and service. The place is comfortable, clean and pleasant. THANK YOU!

Unplanned Sunday lunch was fantastic! We were slipped in between those with reservations. We had two waiters who were friendly, professional, attentive, and efficient. New Brunswick oysters were fresh, petit, and pack with a sweet and buttery flavor. Shucked cleanly. The foie gras and baguette were expertly prepared and complemented with poached pear for an absolutely delicious combination. The lamb chops were grilled perfectly to medium rare and paired with a rich potato gratin. The mussels frites were an excellent match of a generous portion of flavorful mussels in a lovely white wine and onion sauce with light and crispy shoestring fries. The grand marnier soufflé capped an unexpectedly decadent meal. One of my favorite places in Boston.

Really good food! Everything was cooked well. The food was comforting and it makes you all happy and warm. I loved the chicken crepes, and their bread was so good with butter and the lobster bisque had plenty of lobster. The scallops were well done, and I like their fries. Not too crazy about their soufflé but that's just me. Good service and it's a cute little chill place!

This is the most Authentic French Restaurant I’ve tried in Boston. The food is generous and smells and tastes like a Sunday at my grandmother’s. The staff was amazing. They even offered us their Mousse au Chocolat for my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. ?I loved the maxi profiteroles and the salmon. And the bread was warm and fresh. They also do vegetarian options!French or not, you must try it.

A very cute date spot! The restaurant is small so I would recommend making a reservation. The service and food were good, nothing blew us away but I'd definitely return. We had the escargot, lobster bisque, duck, veal, and the chocolate soufflé for dessert. The escargot was good and as expected! The lobster bisque had a good portion of lobster but tasted fishy. I wouldn't recommend getting it, not sure if it's always like that. I did enjoy the duck but it was not up to par with other French restaurants in Boston. The meat was cooked a perfect medium rare but the flavor was lacking a bit. The veal was good but I am not a veal fan so I cannot comment! The chocolate soufflé was the item I was most looking forward to. It was unfortunately a bit watery and the flavor was not a deep chocolate, more like a light milk chocolate. I've had plenty of soufflés so I will not be getting it here again! Overall, I would recommend coming here even though there were some misses. It seems like there are many other dishes to try!

This quaint little place was a huge hit. With one app, 2 soups, 2 entrees, 2 deserts, and some adult beverages, it was about $100 per person. They were not shy with a huge clump of lobster meat in the bisque. The French Onion Soup was some of the best I have ever had. Ray Wing (SkateWing) entree was great and cooked to perfection. The Duck L'orange transported me to some fancy restaurant in France! To wrap the evening up we had the chocolate souffle and baked strawberry Alaska we would order again.Reservations is a must if you want to dine at a decent hour.Dress code seemed pretty loose. Although knowing this I would still dress smart casual.

Food was great: decently seasoned, comforting and filling. Service was good, we walked in and got seats during a snow storm. For ambiance, I can see this place being cute for a dinner date :)

The servicer was wonderful. The table bread was not great. The food was okay. Was not our favorite. The drink were alright, a bit too sweet. The ambiance was great. I would recommend taking the red line because it is very close to Charles/MGH.

Lovely little French bistro. The food was quite good with a great selection. I appreciated the gluten and vegetarian sensitivity. The wait staff were very welcoming and relaxed. I enjoyed the neighborhood feel and the number of regulars dining on their favorite dishes.

Larissa gave my boyfriend and I fantastic service. The escargot was perfection and the scallops were out of this world. Presentation and all, our meals were amazing. We can't wait to come back again.
