I miss this place soo much! Why aren’t they open? There’s a lot of upset construction workers missing this place ?

Literally whatever you want they have. Who is going to complain about that? Not me!

Good food for a quick stop breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff.

Food is definitely "last resort" material and they get your order wrong almost every time. It's almost impressive to get it wrong as often as they do.

Metro Café (Boston) was one of our stops on the recent New England road trip I took with my wife and 1-year old son We needed a quick bite and I saw this on Google Maps so we walked over. HOLY. OPTIONS. The place is laid out like a huge cafeteria style deli with a big salad bar in the middle. You go up to the counter of your choice, order, they mark it up, and you pay on your way out. There were about ten different things I wanted to get but eventually I ordered a cold Seafood Salad sandwich that was absolutely ridiculous. I’m talking packed with meat! (I added a chipotle mayo as well). I got a PB & J for my son and my wife made her own salad (priced by weight). I thought the price was pretty reasonable and it was super quick. The salad bar had a plethora of options and the employees there were friendly and answered my wife’s questions. I can’t recommend this place more for a quick and delicious bite to eat – I wish they had these in Western Pennsylvania!

Poor customer service and moldy strawberries in the salad bar.

The Metro Cafe used to be a daily visit when I worked nearby in the Children's museum. It still is a convenient option for a quick lunch in that area when you only have a limited amount of time away from your desk. They have several stations, including sandwiches, pizza, and whatever the special is of the day. The food is good and fairly reasonable. Its not going to win awards, but provides a solid lunch. The reason I give it 5 stars is the salad bar. It is a big salad bar, and offers a nice array of lettuces, fresh veggies, cheeses, fruits, mixed salads, dressings, and toppings. Even when I moved closer to downtown crossing, I would make the walk when I was craving a nice salad. When you walk in you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of people in the various lines, but don't worry. The lines move very fast. I've seen the line to pay wrap around the entire restaurant and I waited maybe 5 minutes before I got to a register. The cashiers are ninjas, and move at breakneck speed.

Not bad. Good location the food and menu has a nice presentation. Nice color palette. But some of their sandwiches are lacking, like for example their hot pastrami. It isn't hot(it's cold andjust dunked in hot water for a few seconds. Also their chicken cutlet is soggy and not very flavourful. Their other items are good such as their Italian and turkey subs it's an okay spot for lunch.
