From start to end our meal at mooncusser was incredibly memorable. The service was warm and gracious without being over the top. Each course was delicious with perfect timing between courses. Everything was so memorable and delicious from the Cobia ceviche the garlic Parmesan donut and squid to my lamb consume grass fed beef mango sorbet and rhubarb and hibiscus crisp. We all left saying what a special meal it was. Thank you Mooncusser!

We had a delightful dining experience at Mooncusser. The food was exquisite, with each course showcasing originality, a delightful sense of novelty, and subtle preparation. The squid, fish, and meat dishes were all perfectly cooked. Overall, I would rate the food 8.5 out of 10. While I absolutely loved it, I have had slightly better on rare occasions. However, the value for the price, at $115 for the menu, is exceptional. One thing to note is that a liking for spicy food is beneficial to fully enjoy the menu, although it was never overly spicy. In fact, it is milder compared to many Indian, Thai, or Creole restaurants. I appreciated the wide variety of spices, adding an extra layer of pleasure to each dish for an amazing journey. Most of my courses paired excellently with a 2020 Nuit-Saint-Georges. The service was impeccable, with everyone being exceptionally nice, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant itself is lovely and comfortable, offering a great view of Saunders Castle. While it was somewhat noisy, it was not overly so. Having dined in several Michelin-starred restaurants, I believe Mooncusser might deserve one star. This was my first visit, and I will certainly be returning.

There wasn't anything magical about this experience. The food was good, not fantastic. The service was fine at best. We got the wine pairing and there wasn't one wine that I was interested in learning more about.... Atmosphere was clean but not warm or inviting. For $450 for two people, I certainly expected more

Fantastic, creative and delicious meal. Every course was interesting and the flavors all worked so well together. A special experience and a seafood lovers delight. Vibrant atmosphere.

The food was average at best. We got the prix-fixe menu with wine pairing. The food presentation was good but the taste was lacking. The wine pairing did not make sense and the only course where it complimented the food was dessert. We did have a cocktail which was delicious!

Wonderful meal at Mooncusser this evening including wine pairings. I enjoyed every dish. I particularly appreciated that they are willing to challenge guests' palates with spice, as they certainly did with their ceviche course and their crab course.

This restaurant is as good as it gets. Each course is meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. It's the only restaurant I've ever patronized where I spent 3 1/2 hours enjoying the experience and never once questioned the time or the service, which was superb.

The food was excellent and served by knowledgeable wait staff. The wines were perfect complement to the meal. I, however, would've liked to have seen slightly larger portions for each of the servings especially the entree

I love this restaurant. One of the few restaurants in Boston willing to go outside of the status quo and present plates that are unique, but also familiar. They push the boundaries without going too far and the wine pairings are superb. If you haven't gone to Mooncusser yet, do yourself a favor and get there.

Everything at Mooncusser was fantastic. The food, wine pairing and service made for a wonderful experience. All at a price point that is a screaming value. Nothing but good things to say. We will be back.

I was extremely pleased with the food and service of this fine establishment. I had traveled solo to Boston for a birthday trip, and this was the restaurant I chose to celebrate my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised that I was not the only solo diner in the restaurant, and that not a one of us had a bad table. Unfortunately, many establishments feel that if you dine solo you deserve the worst table by the kitchen, but not so here! The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and I will definitely return on my next trip to Boston.

If you love amazing food you can't get anywhere else book now before you miss out. We sat at the bar and loved every minute of it. The bartender gave us the back story on the food, wine and so much more. A truly memorable experience.
