This place is okay. I honestly expected more. The line was longer compared to the other places and I was thinking that probably this place is serving the best food. Unfortunately, there were too much of expectations. I ordered a ramen, with some dumplings. Out of everything the best part was dumplings, they probably need to start serving them as a separate dish. My husband got potatoes with chicken and to be honest there were just a few pieces of chicken and mostly potatoes.

This spot is inside TimeOut Market. A good option for fried chicken. Their chicken garage is cooked really well, crispy and flavorful. However, I got their curry cheese chicken and waffles and the parts with the curry was phenomenal... The cheese, I was expecting a melted mozzarella, it was a cheese sauce. It's overwhelming with the parmesan cheese. The curry gets lost. Get their regular chicken garage and waffle fries! Or sauces on the side. The waffle fries are spot on, crispy outside and soft inside.Their dumpling noodle dish isn't bad. Reminds me of a wonton noodle soup. I just wish there was some bokchoi or a bit of some other vegetable.

Decent spot inside the time-out market. We managed to find a spot to sit really close, so that was nice. I split the signature spicy chicken and dumplings noodle soup and the chicken, broccoli, and cheddar gyoza. The soup was pretty good. Flavorful, good size, plenty of noodles and dumplings. The gyoza sounded very intriguing but were a bit of a miss. The gyoza themselves were fantastic, but I expected the cheese on top to be better. It was way too dry, and there was too much of it. I tried to pour the chili sauce on it, but it didn't help enough. I ended up just peeling off the gyoza and eating them with the chili sauce.Overall, pretty good. Although I did expect a little more from a James Beard chef. It's still worth a stop in.Parking: Paid parking in the area.

The chicken and dumpling soup was surprisingly good. The soup base had strong meat stock flavor and definitely from long simmer. Noodles were good and cooked well, could be a bit more al dente. The chicken dumplings were ok but had a herbly flavor I wasn't used to and not big fan of. At least it was a meaty dumpling. Ground chicken gave the dish a good different texture touch. The spicy level was good and not overwhelming. The karage chicken and waffle fried was actually my favorite of the duo. The karage was well seasoned and marinated so I can actually taste the soy and ginger. The chicken was moist and juicy on the inside. Could be a bit more crispy but still made up for it in the tastiness. The fries were ok but nothing to write home about. The yuzu aioli was excellent and couldn't stop dunking chicken and fries into it for that citrus flavor to cut the oiliness from the fried food. Obviously the price is higher than normal and that's probably due to the location which is at timeout market. I would probably only go back if I am in the area and want to enjoy the ambiance.

We stopped into Time Out Market on a rainy day before then visiting the nearby Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Ended up coming to Ms. Clucks and had a very tasty, quick lunch. Highly recommend the chicken and dumpling soup, especially for a cold and rainy day like the one we had.

8PM is usually the latest you'll find me eating but after a super long day of work and errands, I decided chicken and waffle fries (not to be confused with chicken and waffles) was right for me. Because I had to change a puncture on my tire, my hands were covered in road grit and grease, I couldn't order any of the handhelds, making it all the more reasonable. The taste is what I would expect. I can't remember what sauce I got. I just wish I could have gotten more of it. The food is definitely designed to make you need a beverage -- I forgot to bring a water bottle -- but over $6 for a 16oz. soda is criminally insane. That yuzu soda did hit as a top tier beverage, which made the ballpark prices more forgivable. Wish I had ketchup on deck.

8.8Other reviews for Ms Clucks surprised me. We got the Cajun karaage sando and the noodle soup. Both were excellent!First, the sandwich was genuinely one of the best I've had in my life. It's a juicy, tender chicken thigh with bacon, lettuce, tomato, creamy ranch and pickles contained by one of the fluffiest buns I've ever had. The sandwich had so many flavors at once, I almost couldn't believe how much umami i was getting. Definitely at least a 9.3 sandwich! The soup was great as well. It contained some ramen noodles, truffle chicken dumplings, and some mashed spicy chicken in a savory broth. The flavors in this soup were similarly delicious, with great texture on the noodles, a kick of spice from the chicken and hints of truffle from the dumplings. A strong 8 on this soup! If you are in Time Out Market Boston, you should definitely check this place out!

Super yummy, umami chicken and fries! I got the karaage with waffle fries and the combination of the sauce drizzled on top with the yuzu aioli was mind blowing. Will be coming back to try more menu items!
