The food and service was outstanding. The specials were incredible and it was an all around lovely experience! We had a reservation and it was good we did, it got busy and that was really nice to see. I would recommend this ristorante to anyone who wants to dine in the North End.

Overall, food was okay. One dish was really good, others were meh. We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation time. While I get that they wanted to flip tables more quickly to catch up, I don't appreciate that they told us the restaurant did not offer dessert as a way to wrap up our meal more quickly. I double checked after, and yes, the restaurant does offer dessert.

We went to Boston for an early evening comedy show and decided to explore the North End of Boston to see if we could find a place with last minute availability after the show. We were thrilled to find a reservation through OpenTable for two at Nando. The server (a young lady with an accent) was pleasant and knowledgeable. She kept our glasses full and our table clear! The meatballs were tender with a mild flavor. I would have loved a slightly more seasoned meat mixture to compliment the sauce which was simple and delicious. The homemade pasta was delicious and cooked well. Overall, everything was great and we'll likely visit again!

Excellent meal and service! Packed upstairs on a Friday night so they sat us downstairs which also filled up but not nearly as crowded and noisy. All of our meals were excellent! Carpaccio starter was unique with artichokes and other veggies. So good! Veal chop was so tender and delicious. Mushroom ravioli and chicken saltimboca were amazing as well. Great cocktails and a nice glass of super Tuscan. We will definitely return!

Had out of town guests on short notice. Everyone wanted Italian and Nando's always delivers. The Buratta app was perfect, entrees were on point and the Amaretto pound cake was to die for. Only had to wait a few minutes for our table, place was busy and loud, just like home.

Pasta was amazing. Space is crowded and smoky (the kitchen was open and connected to the dining area). We're placed by the bar counter. 2 groups of people waiting for downstair seats literally squeezed into our table for over 30 min. Talking, laughing, drinking right next to our faces. Reported to the staff but was told 'well why didn't you tell us first?'. Overall a terrible experience. Will not be here again...!

Food was great as always! They sat us in the basement which is a little cramped, next time I'd wait for a table to open upstairs. Despite it being very busy our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

The cheese plate was amazing as was the bread But the main entrees were terrible. Zero flavor, nothing exciting and a total disappointment.

Good food, good drink but this is the 2nd time in a month we've had reservations and they seated us 45 mins to over 1 hour after our reserved time. Seems like they over-book or take walk-ins on nights when events are at the TD Garden. They also don't do a great job of turning over tables. We saw a party of 12 stay seated for over ~30mins after thier check arrived .... just chatting and sipping their after-dinner drinks.

Popped into this Italian spot in Boston with some pretty high hopes. We decided on the branzino and swordfish, throwing in a few appetizers for good measure. The branzino arrived as a whole fish, which was a pleasant surprise, and thankfully, it wasn't a battle with tiny bones - they were easy enough to navigate around. The pasta was, well, just okay. It filled the spot but didn't leave a lasting impression, kind of like a background character in a bustling street scene. The calamari was decent, not the star of the show but a solid performance.Overall, I'd say the food was pretty good by Boston's Italian dining standards, enough to make me consider a return visit. It's a solid 4-star place for me. The branzino was the highlight, and while not everything hit the high notes, the experience was enjoyable enough to leave a good taste in my mouth.

Had a reservation for six on Saturday night. Despite it being a relatively small dining room, they were able to accommodate us within ten minutes of our reservation. Service was good, food and ambiance were excellent. Highly recommend.

Our party of six got seated right away which was surprising and lucky! But we were certainly pressured to eat fast and move on! The entire three course experience was in about an hour. The food was quite tasty but the noise level was too much where there wasn't any opportunity for conversation anyhow.

They lied to us and said our reservation didn’t go through and told us to wait. After waiting an hour we decided to go somewhere else, and got an email that they canceled our reservation which means they had it the entire time. They sat five different groups ahead of us even though we clearly had our reservation. The host was rude as well, zero stars.
