We both ordered fish and they were both severely over cooked. Soup appetizer was flavorful, but over salted and small in size. Gin and tonic was sent back due to being not drinkable. Our server was super sweet and very good, and automatically removed the offending products from our bill without us asking - which was very professional. I think a focus on food and drink quality is very needed.

There is no variety of dishes. My fiance and I had different types of pasta for dinner and we were not satisfied. The flavors were ok but nothing special. The cocktails felt cheap. The price I paid +200 dollars for a dinner is not justified

Fine dining at its best. The service was attentive and friendly. The surroundings were absolutely gorgeous. The menu was incredible. The food was phenomenal. We had reservations for a birthday, and the server was so accommodating. We enjoyed every minute of this special night. Highly recommend.

We spent a late Christmas meal at the Palm and it was perfect. The bacon appetizer was excellent and we split a steak and added sides. Just what we wanted and needed. Great vibe for that evening. Thanks!

Waited 20mins before I flagged someone down for water. We only got 3 of the 4 apps ordered. Waiter didn't put any of our sides in. Food took forever. Manager did apologize for the inconvenience and comped my entree and all the apps.

We went to The Palm to celebrate my brother's 50th birthday. The whole experience was very, very disappointing. AVOID! 1.I ordered the Tomahawk steak (to share). The server came back a few minutes later and said “sorry, we're out” and instead suggested the bone-in ribeye. I said OK. She came back a few minutes later and said “sorry, we're out of those too.” And the regular ribeyes were also unavailable. What? A steakhouse that doesn't have any ribeye steak?!? I chose the strip steak. It was cooked well but lacked any kind of flavor. 2.To begin, we shared the wedge salad and the calamari. These didn't come out until 7:40pm (when we sat down at 6:30pm). Not only did we have to wait way too long, the calamari was cold. 3.When our entrees came out, the server forgot the side dishes. She was able to bring out the black truffle risotto right away (and it was delicious) but the grilled asparagus took about 10 minutes (by which time we'd already eaten much of our meal). 4.The service was simply awful beginning to end. Our server never once inquired about our food (see comments above), did not want (or know how) to comp one birthday dessert, and was just missing-in-action most of the night. Rather than being the joyous birthday meal we'd all hoped for, the four of us left sad and frustrated. This is perhaps the worst steakhouse in Boston.

Been here a few times but I think this is the last. The noise level was indescribable. I wanted to take my dinner to the subway station where it was quiet. This was a first date and I specifically asked for a quiet table. Upon entering, I waited about 10 minutes for someone to greet me. Seated finally and my date arrives after being delayed in front as well. Ordered clearly a martini either olives it arrives without. Side dishes were also missing and they had to get them. Staff looks to be high school age kids that have no idea what they are doing. They also kept wanting to take the food away! Then the check! Couldn't relax a minute nor hear my date. Disastrous service and just ok food.

Awful customer service. Waiter spilled a huge amount of oil based sauce on one of our very expensive leather coats. Completely ruined. The manager didn't seem to care at all. Offered nothing to us. Got angry when we asked for some kind of compensation. Awful experience. Would not return ever.

A bit disappointing for such a high-end restaurant. The steaks were overcooked, and the service was lacking. The waiter poured wine into a used water glass and forgot to bring out requested sauces not once but twice. Then when he did bring them out he only brought one when two were requested. This was a business meeting to entertain out of town employees and was not the experience we were hoping for.

Very disappointed in Thanksgiving meal. Lobster bisque was fabulous though. I only got 4 string beans, corn bread stuffing was just corn bread, received only small pieces of dark meat from the carcass, had to ask for a slice of white meat, Cesar salad had no parmesan shavings, and chocolate pecan pie crust was not even cooked - think they forgot to put in in the oven. Just an awful dinner for Thanksgiving and not even pumpkin or apple pie. If I ever come back I'm sticking with steak. A very disappointing day for mt friend and I. And the manager never even inquired about our meal. I wasted a lot of money yesterday. So not happy.

I've always considered the Palm an upscale restaurant and was so disappointed to find how much it has slipped. Of the four meals we had only one was considered even fair...our guests had not dined here before and were so disappointed after us raving about how good it was. We had hoped the desert would be better. Our favorite desert was no longer on the menu..2 crème brûlées were ordered and neither one eaten...they appeared to have come from the freezer..I know a new chain took over but it's a shame they are lowering the quality.

Great choice for a business lunch. Service was very spotty during our visit, and some of the dishes just average - although nothing was poorly made or outright bad, I had hoped for a little more. That said, still a good choice for a nice (and relatively quiet, which seems harder to find these days) lunch.

The food was good! But the noise level was too much! If you want a quiet evening to decompress do not go to The palm; that Thursday evening I needed a quiet place and I made the wrong choice! The acoustics in there are a lot! We couldn't even have a private conversation at our table!

Took my mother for her birthday and had a fabulous evening and meal. Could not ask for a better night, the manager Corey and Brian were fantastic and our server Chris was on point all night. My mother has a fantastic time, we each had a fabulous meal prepared perfectly. I had the Strip, mom the Salmon, the wife Steak and Lobster tail, so able to do a great job on both sea and beef. Appetizers and sides more than worth their price, wine perfect, dessert delicious. It could not have gone better. Shame it has to end but looking forward to going back
