Nice little sandwich spot. The person at the counter recommended the hot lobster roll (over the cold lobster) and it arrived in just a few minutes. The lobster roll was delicious and fresh with just enough butter. Would absolutely return.

Their lobster rolls are reasonably priced and very tasty!! The place is pretty small so there isn't a lot of seating, but it's still great if you want fast and cheap lobster rolls! Only downside is that the restaurant doesn't have restrooms available for costumers.

A popular spot for lobster rolls in North End.Pauli's holds a special place in my memory as one of the first spots I visited in the North End when I moved to the city. I recall having a good experience with their warm lobster rolls, so I recently returned to explore their menu beyond just the lobster rolls.Beyond the famed lobster rolls, Pauli’s menu extends to burgers, subs, and wings. Most of these classic Italian sub shop items are reasonably priced, but in terms of quality, they are just average. Everything I've tried, from the Mexicali Burger to the Garlic Parm Chicken wings, were fairly simple and basic. The Italian subs, like the Mama Lucca, in particular, were a bit underwhelming.Pauli's still offers a convenient and practical alternative to the long lines often found at Neptune Oyster. A reliable choice if you’re looking for an affordable and straightforward Italian sub shop fares, but if you have the time, I would recommend going elsewhere for the subs.Parking: Haymarket Center GarageStreet parking available on sidewalks along Cross St (rarely available)

I visited Pauli's during my trip to Boston. really great place. Enjoyed their Hot Lobster Roll and Clam Chowder. I did a to-go as the place was a bit busy. One of the best clam chowders, and Lobster rolls.

Typical place to eat Lobster Roll. The truth is that it is quite good, both that and the rest of the food. Yes, it is true that it is somewhat expensive for what it really is, but it is worth it and you have to try it at least once in your life.

Awesome gluten free lobster rolls! They had two options: hot buttered, or cold mayo based lobster salad. Delicious generous hearty chunks of lobster. Not cheap, I believe $30 per roll but worth it.The establishment is cozy and no frills with limited diner/bar type seating. It feels like authentic Boston. There are photos on the wall of all the famous people that have enjoyed this restaurant.Kid friendly, my 5 year old nephews loved the grilled cheese and crunchy fries.Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly!! They were careful to mention to me about the fries being cooked in a gluten based fryer.

TL;DR: Lobster Roll Review! Was waiting in line at Neptune Oyster and ducked in here real quick to grab some lobster rolls to eat in line. Interior is very homey and small, but have decent seating.FOOD:~Hot Lobster Roll (4/5): Solid lobster roll that was nice and buttery. Could use a hit of salt or pepper to enhance the flavor~Cold Lobster Roll (3.5/5): Very lightly dressed with mayo. I personally preferred this type of cold roll, but if, like my husband and friends, prefer more mayo flavor, then it may not be for you. Each of the rolls came with chips or sub fries at upcharge.Definitely a solid spot to grab a bite!

My brother sent us makings for 8 lobster rolls a few months ago. The meat was all tail and claw and of course the rolls were exactly what one should eat a New England lobster roll on. Excellent!

Portions are small for the price. Didn't feel like it was worth it. Feels more like a tourist thing. Food taste was basic / nothing special.

Nice large pieces of lobster on the lobster roll. Inside is small. There is some seating but definitely not ideal for a large party.
