Wanted to write up a good review for this place! Came here during my trip with some friends to grab some food to go. We unintentionally arrived near closing time (we are sorry), but they were still so kind and welcoming to us. Their service and food was amazing. Our order of lumpia was freshly made and our meals came with some extra broccoli Maraming salamat po!

We had the most lovely experience having dinner here! The owners Janeth and Ray are so welcoming and warm, and the food is so flavorful and delicious. We absolutely loved everything we ordered and especially enjoyed the mechado, garlic fried rice, and lumpia! They even gave us some free cookies to go for dessert. 11/10 experience and would recommend to anyone looking for some yummy Filipino food in boston.Dietary restrictions: Everything here is gluten free!! Super great option for those who have a gluten allergy.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they also have great dessert options including halo halo and different types of boba for dessert.

Pinoykabayan is now one of my favorite restaurants in the Downtown Boston area! Friends and I are already planning to come back and become regulars. I highly recommend the adobo chicken and the ube smoothie!

My friend and I had an incredible time at Pinoy Kabayan this evening. The food was packed with flavor and they made fresh garlic rice and limpiang for us. Not only was the food delicious, but the people running it so friendly and welcoming! We got to know the owners, Janeth and Ray--they're the best. Janeth offered to make the fresh rice and even gave us a delicious fresh cookie on our way out! If you're looking for good Filipino food, or just good food, come check this place out! There is a small seating area inside (plus beautiful artwork on the walls) but service is also quick so you could easily get food to go.

FINALLY good filipino food in the city! I always miss eating lumpia, tocino, pancit and halo-halo from living on the west coast. Now I can get some off the orange line whenever I want! prices are good and the flavors are super authentic. the secret star menu item is the BUKO PANDAN, a creamy, sweet pandan and coconut jelly drink. everything was divine and yummy.

The inside extremely homey and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, it was my first time having Filipino food and I will be coming back to have more! The sausage is delicious and pairs well with rice!

First time trying Filipino food and I am OBSESSED! I ordered the Ulam Entree with Chicken Adobo and Pancit noodles. The Chicken Adobo is well seasoned and the Pancit Noodles are so tender and savory! I also got the 4pc Lumpia which have the perfect crunch.Service was amazing, they were patient and took the time to walk me through their menu. I felt soo welcomed in there :)I am in town for a work trip but next time work brings me back to Boston, I’ll be back here!

Went here for lunch with some friends and the food was delicious and comforting! They serve authentic Filipino food and meals are always cooked fresh. For vegetarians, I recommend a starter pack of pansit guisado, fried vegetable lumpia, garlic rice, steamed vegetables, and calamansi juice. The owners said that fresh vegetable lumpia with peanut sauce is coming soon on the menu.We also tried the fried pork lumpia (very crispy!), tapa combo, and lechon and they were so tasty. Last but not least, make sure to always get the halo-halo, which was fantastic! The format was diner-style and the ambiance was cozy and festive. The owners (and chefs) Janeth and Rey were super warm and friendly, and will explain the menu items. Can't wait to come back and try the other items on the menu!

The restaurant was quite small. There were about 20 seats. The owner was really nice and let me get half chicken adobo and beef tapa. The food was flavorful. The beef tapa was a bit too salty for my taste. I absolutely love the garlic rice!
