“stuffed cabbage (rice + pork) smothered in tomato sauce. middle — grilled kielbasa on a bed of ‘bigos’ aka hunters stew (fresh & cured meats + mushrooms + sauerkraut) right — variety of boiled pierogis + caramelized onions & bacon bits. everything deserves the ‘chefs kiss’ rating. this is a sampler type plate, but it was the perfect dinner that day.“

“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The decor is cozy and welcoming as you would expect from a nice neighborhood bar. The service was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. When i saw the menu, I at first thought, "Polish and Portuguese food? Really?" But it works. I had buffalo wings to start, Pierogi for my main, and doughnuts for dessert. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Top it all off with a thorough but not overwhelming list of cocktails, craft beers, and wine, and it made for a perfect dinner date.Highly recommended.“

“Excellent wine choices, all by the glass, especially Eastern European wines. Live music on some days. As for the food, some things were great, some less so, nothing bad.Parking: The parking lot is behind the restaurant, but a little hard to find. Street parking was very limited. Leave a bit of extra time to park.“
