Organized place, excellent and kind service. GREAT PRICE. 5 stars more than deserved. Don't judge a book by its cover, the restaurant's street is scary but what's inside is wonderful.

Great food, good price. I made my own bowl which was $13 but there are plenty of choices off their menu that you can pick from. Place was very clean. My bowl was the beef offal with boili g spicy broth, and rice noodles.

Visited China Town for a bite to eat...so many different restaurants and café to choose from, was a difficult choice but we settled on here. People were friendly we order a number of items off the menu which Lisa gave us some advice. Food was hot and plentiful. My intention was to take more pictures of the food we ordered but I forgot.

According to Liam, the employee to whom I spoke, this restaurant has a new name and owner as of September 2022. The storefront says Liaoxiang Rice Noodle. The name on the receipt reads Luckycafe, one word. The picture menu says Potluck Cafe. Food and prices are good. I got the steamed fish with black bean sauce for $7 and a plate of white rice for $2. I like the hot chili pepper sauce on the table.

Absolutely amazing. The service, food, and prices were top notch. We got the beef tripe malatang and the 3 combo. Super cheap for amazing food and quantity. Our server was a young man who was super fast and efficient, and was extremely nice. Please supprot this small buisiness.

Great little spot off the beaten path. You can find them in a side alley across from one of the entrances to a local supermarket. They have a solid menu that I included a picture of. The prices are all really fair at around $7 each, with some variation. Dishes are made fresh each time you order. They offer plenty of dishes pre-packaged to go, including a variety of steamed buns with various fillings. The restaurant was a bit cold when I was last there, but don’t let that stop you! I ordered the Mala Fish mostly recently, which was pictured as a traditional Szechuan dry spicy fish, but it came in a more wet form. I was not bothered by it, because the taste was excellent. Be sure to mix things up and pay them a visit when you’re in the area. I’ll be back! ?

Went here on a lazy Saturday afternoon after hearing about this place from someone else. A true hole-in-the-wall, it's located in one of the larger alleyways of Chinatown. Be warned - the English translation of the menu is not really accurate and if you don't know what you're getting, you might be in for a surprise. The service was great as the lady in front gave us a friendly run-down on how to order on the tablet. We ordered two different noodle soups, one with beef + beef tripe + rice noodles, and the other a pork specialty with glass noodles, both requested at mildly spicy. The wait was normal, maybe 10-15 mins, and the bowls they come out with are deceptively deep. Both noodle soups had tofu, bak Choi, and Napa cabbage. The broth was delicious and the bowl themselves kept very hot for a long time. The spicy was just at the right level and for ~$13 a bowl there was a lot food to get through. Tasty and satisfying I think we spent like 20-30 mins mins trying to finish our meal because there was so much! They also have handmade baos to take home but we were too full at the time to consider it. tldr; pretty cheap, good service, good food, generous portions, 100% authentic, but isn't a clean restaurant.

Best maratang i had in my life. Koreans are probably used to it a bit spicier, but it was incredible.
