One of the very few places I get great coffee. And pastries too?

Each time that I am in town, we stop here and sip on their coffee in the shaded courtyard. Their company has a vision and their staff have a mission. Reliable and relaxing!

I have yet to go wrong with an order at Recreo. The staff are always so kind and welcoming, which is a great energy to have on the main level of City Hall. They offer seasonal favorites, such as an Oreo Latte or Peppermint Mocha, alongside your standard coffee favorites. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I appreciate that they offer dairy-free milk options, which includes oat, silk, and almond milk. The baked goods are also quite delicious. Two of my favorites are the chocolate chip cookie and the coffee cake muffin, definitely recommend if you find yourself in City Hall!

Hector is great, coffee is really good. And the 1 farm 1 shop model is really interesting and probably in the end more sustainable and better outcomes than a lot of other methods.

This is the the best coffee shop for miles! It's unpretentious, staffed by good baristas (and occasionally the proprietor) and seriously good coffee. It sources it's beans from the family's farm in Nicaragua and the beans are roasted on site. Can't get fresher than that! The patio around back is a lovely spot. I'm always pleased to support this business.

Recreo is my "go-to" place for coffee and espresso. I need my espresso boost daily and I get it at Recreo. Macchiato, Cortado! Gotta have it! :) Try the pastries too. Fresh and delicious every day. I also get the parfait when available. Remember when City Hall had nothing like this available? Recreo is now a fixture of great coffee from Nicaragua and tasty treats. They've got me hooked. :) That's a good thing. Thanks for being there each day for us all at the Hall! ;-)

This place is much more than just a place to get coffee. It is a special spot that you go to feel welcomed. I asked for a shot of mint syrup in my iced coffee and when the owner didn’t have any, she made the extra effort to pick fresh mint from the garden. I am now enjoying the most delicious mint mocha ice brew I have ever had. Thank you.
