We found ourselves with a longer layover than we thought at Boston Airport recently and needed some grub. When in Boston, why not grab a lobster roll right? We were actually in Boston last year for a foodie trip and has been craving for more lobster roll ever since. The one here at Red's Best definitely hit the spot and satisfy our cravings. I just wish they would serve it warm. It was $39.95 as of March 2024, not outrageous for airport price and especially when Legal Seafoods wants $50 a few steps away. Order at a kiosk and your food comes out soon after. Hubby also added a burger since we shared the lobster roll.

Probably one of the biggest lobster rolls I've had! Boston Public Market is a great little place to stroll around, grab a bite and check out some of the local vendors. I grabbed a lobster roll and lobster bisque from Red's and went and sat at The Pine Bar and had a beer. Red's is a great place to grab fresh seafood to take home and a hot meal to go. It's counter service but there are tables throughout the market to sit down and enjoy your seafood.

Stopped at Reds at the Boston airport and had a great dinner! They're small menu focuses on several great meals. There are plenty of seafood options available. I had the fish tacos. They had plenty of fish and toppings that complimented it perfectly. Staff was quick and efficient! The bar is right near it with several options. A good stop before a flight!

Fresh and delicious seafood! My son brought us here because he said he enjoyed the best fish sandwich ever. We tried so many items and everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Employees were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed crab cakes, fried fish and chips, fried scallop roll and clam chowder. This market inside the Boston public market is a must. They sell fresh seafood and serve delicious food!!

FDA Advises Restaurants and Retailers Not to Serve or Sell and Consumers Not to Eat Chopped Clams Illegally Harvested in Massachusetts and Distributed by Red's Best December 12, 2023 The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to eat, and restaurants and food retailers not to sell, and to dispose of Red's Best chopped clams illegally harvested from prohibited waters in MA on 11/25/2023 and 11/26/2023 with lot numbers # 331 and # 333, and shuck dates of 23/331 and 23/333, because they may be contaminated. The chopped clams were directly distributed to distributors and retailers in CT, MA, NY, and RI and may have been distributed further from these states. Clams harvested illegally may be contaminated with human pathogens, toxic elements or poisonous or deleterious substances and can cause illness if consumed. Clams are filter feeders that remove and bioaccumulate bacteria and other pathogens from the water. It is not uncommon for shellfish to be consumed raw and whole. Contaminated clams can cause illness if eaten raw, particularly in people with compromised immune systems. Clams contaminated with pathogens may look, smell, and taste normal.

Surprisingly great Fish & Chips: fresh and large filets, great French fries. My spouse had the fish sandwich: a different filet, twice as thick (and more appropriate for a sandwich). The tartar sauce tasted freshly made too.
The lobster roll was incredible....everything it's supposed to be! Huge pieces of lobster, sweet and firm! Yummy!

So good, I got the clam chowder and it was delicious. My husband got the salmon burger and it was the best I have ever had. We sat and ate at a table listening to live music, a perfect experience. I would highly recommend.

After trekking along on the Freedom Trail all morning and early afternoon, we decided to give our feet a rest and grab some lunch. I had scoped out this place since it was nearby to Faneuil Hall. There were a couple of people in front of me buying fish to prepare at home. My wife decided on the fish and chips, and I had a lobster roll and a cup of chowder. The lobster roll was great and had plenty of meat. I appreciated the lack of mayonnaise in the recipe. The clam chowder was good but needed more clams and some salt. I added some Tabasco sauce to kick it up a little. My wife loved the fish and chips. The fries were plentiful, fresh, and delicious. Even after helping her with the fries, there were still quite a few left. I like that wasn't in a traditional setting as there was plenty of seating. Definitely would come back here to try some of their other options.
