Overall it was not what I have been used to for Ruth's Chris. Our table had no forks, we had to ask the busser to get forks once our appetizers arrived. He did so but was quite shocked that we did not. If that was our only issue then that would be no big deal. The major issue was our entrees. I had ordered a rib eye, I had ordered medium rare but came out medium in the middle, so of course the ends were more like medium well, my other guests had ordered filet medium and one medium rare. They both were cooked correctly but they were giving the the wrong ones. After they had a few bites they realized but it was too late. It was overall pretty disappointing. I never mind spending money on a meal, but when you do spend almost $500, there is a certain level of expectation, and unfortunately this time those expectations were not met.

Our waiter, Joe was a joy! The manager was an active team member and joked with us at the table while checking in our our meal. The Dine Out Boston menu was delicious and filling- we had leftovers! Only hiccup was with the host stand where they checked in the wrong reservation at first and labeled us a no show.

We enjoyed their Dine Out Boston menu, adding a bottle of merlot to the steaks and range of sides on offer. The staff proved efficient and courteous throughout, helping with alternatives when our first wine choice wasn't available. It was easy to talk at normal voice levels through our meal and we'd be happy to return.

It pains me greatly to leave this review as I'm one of the biggest fans of Ruth's Chris. The food and the service at this location was absolutely terrible. We ordered the BBQ shrimp appetizer and it was so salty that it was inedible. We next ordered the calamari and it wa completely soggy and not crispy at all.Next, we ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing and they gave us a salad with blue cheese crumbles and no dressing?Lastly, we were sitting at the bar and the bartender was completely absent - and it wasn't even busy! The manager should be absolutely ashamed of the quality of the food here - the Ruth's Chris brand is not being maintained.

We went for dine around Boston. When we arrived we were kept waiting a rather long time before they seated us. Oddly long and it was early and they were not yet busy. We were then seated in a lovely room. Our server was nice at first. We ordered sparking water and they said they had run out. We ordered our simple dinners filets medium. Mine was ok but not great but my husbands was almost no pink - well done. My filet was oddly shaped with odd grain - seemed not good quality. M The room got busier and we began to be ignored. We did not complain about our food. Then we ordered coffee and my husbands did not come with mine - delayed. Finally it came. Then we worked on getting our bill. We asked a couple of times and then someone literally threw a bill at me. But it was not our bill and it was more expensive too. We asked for another and gave our credit card to speed things up. They brought the payment bill but no itemized bill. We did not trust the accuracy after our first wrong bill so we had to find our waiter to ask for our itemized bill. It's a lovely restaurant without mediocre service and fair food for Dine around Boston. Next time we will go back to Grill 23 where we are well cared for.

Waitress was very nice and service was acceptable Food is over priced for what you get. Ceasar salad was bland. No fresh ground pepper was offered. Steak was ok. Atmosphere was ok.

Fire alarm went off during service. Bar area was dirty and bartender made it feel like it was a chore to find a cucumber for our drinks. I've had much better experiences at this restaurant.

It far from fine dining and with those prices you expect better . Little thing Bussing dirty dishes , Table clothes, just not a fine dining experience . Food my wife ordered ravioli and 10 minutes after ordering told they're all out . The seafood tower I'll never get again . Lobster was not fresh or the crab meat . I'd bet my life it was from Saturday maybe even Friday. Valentine's Day and Sunday of a long weekend was the excuse I got . Still managed to drop $500 bucks . Never again

Valentine Day dinner at RC in Boston. Another spectacular meal for the both of us. Still the best steak of all the top steak restaurants. Excellent service with a nice atmosphere. If you want a great but expensive meal, RC is the place as you do get what you pay for and their drinks are very good and not small. No cheap weak type drinks at a RC that I have ever encountered.
