I regularly stop getting some food in here. I liked the rapid service and well cooked dishes. 5 stars from me.

The address on ritual was not even correct and when you try to call the restaurant it send you to google call. I had to walk so many times around the black to find the restaurant and it was no where to be found. I’m so mad and so aggrieved it was so hot and they were no where to be found. This is the worst restaurant

Average food, but easy to take out. Steamed veggies and everything is cold and the protein is warm. Lots of different dressings to choose from.

I love this awesome lunch place in the Nonprofit Center building! I'm spoiled by delicious made to order food without having to leave my office building. I'm a fan of the lemongrass chicken rice bowl, which comes with a side salad as well. Very reasonably priced for this area of Boston too. The food is grab & go with no place to sit but benches nearby if the weather is nice.

First time here - there will never be a second... Tried Sate Asian Grill for lunch today at their "popup" location at the IDB in Boston. Menu in this case is limited to take-out bowls with a base layer (rice|noodles|salad), +salad, +vegetables OR dumpling, plus a top "protein" layer (choice of lemongrass chicken, Korean BBQ chicken, or curry tofu) at a fixed price of $10. Almost gagged when biting into my "protein" as the texture was wrong -- first thought the "chicken" was BAD -- but it turned out to be potato instead. My Korean BBQ chicken was in fact about 67% POTATO cut into the same size chunks as the chicken, fried the same way, and covered in the same sauce as to appear to be chicken. But it was mostly potato. NOT a protein, guys. Totally DECEPTIVE advertising - and a RIP-OFF. (Update: sort the reviews by date then scroll to October 2014 -- Apparently this "potato scam" has been going on for years)

Been a while, but I love this place. Dropped by for a delicious bulgogi on egg noodle. Nice little salad and pickled carrots included. A nice quick meal, that tastes great, and feels great afterwards! Nice vegan Vietnamese ice coffee too. Thumbs up!

Maybe I came on the wrong day? Monday. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? Pork over egg noodles. But this place was awful. I wanted to try something new so I ventured in. I hoped for the best when I encountered no line during peak lunch hours at an odd counter inside the lobby of an office building. This simple getup was manned by a woman with a simple register and a microwave. Yikes. I'm not even sure what I was served. Some kind of low-grade pork drowned out in thick gravy next to a smattering of spring salad mix. I had a few bites and tossed the rest. I see no reason to go to Sate Grill.

I first found out about this place from my coworker. It is super hidden! It's near the South Station T stop and inside of an office building. Whenever I feel like being healthy, I come here because they have salads for people who hate salads. My go-to option is to get the bbq chicken+ egg noodle salad, which has a really big portion of meat vs salad. The meat and noodles will fill you up, and you get a healthy serving of fiber from the greens. Their Vietnamese sandwiches are pretty good, but I wouldn't come here specifically for those. Another thing they offer is noodle soup, but I'm not sure I can make it to the office without spilling hot soup everywhere. The service is really quick and there isn't a huge line even during lunch hour. In the future, if there is a long line, then there is the option to order ahead online. They do have daily specials that are usually some type of curry, so keep an eye out for those.

The foods is cheap, its served fast, they give you a good portion, and its conveniently located in the financial district. The flavor and taste? Nothing amazing. But if you're short on time and looking for something to fill you up, go check it out. I will probably come again to try another dish if I'm having short lunch. I tried the bbq chicken over brown rice and veggies, with a dumpling. The dumpling was different from ones I had before, looks baked instead of steamed or pan-fried. I didn't like it, but the chicken was fine.
