Atmosphere nice in a Boston/Big City way. Food nicely priced and was tasty. Breakfast scrambled eggs, home fries, 3 sausage links, 2 sliced toast (order it buttered) - $9.99! Cannot find breakfast anywhere else for that! Loved it.

Had a terrible experience. They forgot my order and helped 5 other customers behind me. The taste of the food is not bad, but the space is tight, there is a lot of cooking smell and the tables are very dirty. I won't be coming back here again.

A good solid diner. A bit pricey for what it is in my view, but still recommended.

I haven't been here in about 20 years. They still have delicious food. I can't say they've improved because everything here is perfect.Location, food, accessibility, food, customer experience, food...did I mention food? I was there for breakfast and ordered the eggs, sausage toast and home fries. The home fries were chunky goodness, Fluffy eggs with chedder accompanied by thick sliced wheat bread and sausage links. Definitely hit the spot.Don't wait 20 years to come in for breakfast or lunch. Although takeout and delivery is readily.

Visited Scali Cafe after finding via Google Maps while visiting Boston. The food was delicious I had the veggie omelette, potatoes, a pancake and coffee. Not a long wait, food tasted fresh and was delicious. The portions are large so I was not able to finish my breakfast.

A little cafe with a massive choice of food. It was decent and the staff were friendly enough. Just wish they didn't use plastics knives and forks.

In a word...bad. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. It was 1 small fried egg with one or two small sausages split in half lengthways and one piece of cheese on a stale roll. Looked and tasted disgusting. Rest of my family got ridiculously overpriced bagels that weren't very good either. This place is terrible. Go somewhere else.

I went to eat there 2 weeks ago and the food was delicious but the guy who said it's the owner is very rude to the guy who makes the coffee, I was super shocked that he treated him that way.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Scali Cafe, located in downtown Boston. This place truly embodies the essence of a bustling morning and afternoon spot, perfect for those looking to kickstart their day with a satisfying meal. One of the standout features of Scali Cafe is its extensive menu. They offer a wide variety of options, including an impressive selection of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, and quesadillas. What sets them apart is the ability to customize your sandwiches and quesadillas to your liking, allowing you to create a meal tailored precisely to your preferences. The quality of the food at Scali Cafe is decent. It's not gourmet, but it hits the spot, especially considering the affordable prices, which are a rare find in the heart of downtown Boston. It's a budget-friendly option for anyone looking to grab a meal that gets the job done without breaking the bank.Additionally, Scali Cafe offers the convenience of online ordering through their website. This is a fantastic option if you're in a hurry or simply prefer to skip the line during the busy morning and afternoon rush.Overall, my experience at Scali Cafe was positive. It's a reliable choice for a quick, customizable meal, and the affordability factor in downtown Boston is a significant plus. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying sandwich, or a pick-me-up coffee, Scali Cafe has got you covered.

We were looking for a quick bite on the way to the Team party museum and happened upon this place. Awesome food, fresh ingredients. You know when the locals are eating here, it’s going to be good! Order at the counter, wait for your food, grab a drink and pay at the register. Highly recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: Only entrance is via a stairway.
