My friend had the bulgogi, and it was equally fantastic - the meat was tender and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and umami.

I used to order from there a lot but this will be the last time I order from them. I got scallions pancake and I add oyster, and no oyster in sight. I got stone bibimpab, the portion is very small and they didn’t even give me the sauce. I order spicy tuna roll, it was not spicy tuna, just blend cooked can tuna inside. Again no soy sauce for my sushi roll. I also got the pork brugogi, the portion is small for 22 dollar and the meat was dry. They didn’t even give me utensils. Over all horrible experience.

The restaurant's location is convenient for MGH workers, but the service fell short of my expectations. We waited at our table for over 30 minutes before we could even place our food order, and the staff seemed too rushed to provide attentive service. To add to the frustration, I noticed another staff member, an Asian lady, seated behind the bar, seemingly preoccupied with a computer and not assisting her partner. This lack of teamwork further contributed to the overall delay and dissatisfaction with our experience.Additionally, I'd like to address the behavior of the Asian lady who was seated behind the bar. Her loud voice and obnoxious laughter were extremely disruptive and made it difficult for us to enjoy our meal. It felt unprofessional for a public restaurant environment. I hope the management can address these issues to ensure a more pleasant dining experience for all customers.

I didn't expect to see a korean restaurant in Beacon Hill, and we came here on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, and service overall was great. The portions were pretty big and pretty affordable, and tasted delicious too! The scallion pancake was crispy and chewy, the jjampong was spicy with a deep flavor, and the side dishes were also light and nicely complemented our food. My friends also enjoyed their food, and we loved that the restaurant wasn't super packed. It was pretty clean and cozy, like a typical Korean restaurant you might see in Allston. I've already made plans to come back!

The best place to get a solid tofu jjigae in Boston, including Allston! Everything that I've ordered here has been delicious, the prices are amazing for Boston ($12-15 for a dinner on a weekday!), the side dishes are tasty, and their spice levels are truly spicy (we ordered the extra spicy and I was happy that they delivered). I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for quick service, good prices, and comforting food!

I didn't need to book a Saturday for two at 7:30 p.m.The two dishes we ordered are good but even though we added 'mild' spicy and specified that we wanted the least spicy possible, my lips still burned. My faultThe bathroom is quite ugly and the toilet doesn't stop flushing water. We will share two dishes and it will cost $34 total

I enjoyed the food and thought the prices were very reasonable. I was thrown off that my server didn't speak Korean though because it's my first Korean restaurant where I've experienced that lol but the cook is Korean. They had a lot of choose from and most of my traditional favorites. I would recommend if you're looking for a filling and delicious meal. It's also quiet if you need a break from the noise.

I've ordered takeout from this place before and it's been OK - not the worst but definitely not the best either. I ordered the soondubu combo which said it came with rice, side dishes, and choice of soft drink. When it came, there were no side dishes, which was extremely disappointing because that was half the reason I ordered it. This also may just be my fault, but I ordered mild and the soup came a pale brown color rather than a less spicy red version that I was expecting. I've definitely ordered mild soondubu in the past at other places and gotten a more traditional "mild" red one rather than just a no spice one at all - or it has been made clear what is what with chilli pepper emojis or something. If it had been a white soup, I would have not ordered that option at all. Overall, nothing went right about the ordered besides the fact that the rice and soda came, and if you're going to come back after a long day at work and spend $22 dollars (might not seem like much but heat in the winter is crazy these days) on a meal, I would at least want something I am expecting.

Comfort food with great ambience and efficient service.Got their soft tofu stew which was exactly like how I've had it in Korea. Definitely coming back for more whenever I'm in the area!

진짜 이런게 한식당인게 부끄러운 수준.? Time Visited: 4??‍? Summary: My recent visit to Seoul Restaurant in Boston was regrettable, combining average food quality with poor service and a disorganized atmosphere.? Food: As a Korean, I found the cuisine average. The dishes did not meet the high standards I expect from Korean cooking.? Atmosphere: The restaurant’s environment was disappointing. Despite its spaciousness, the ambiance was negatively impacted by clutter, such as boxes stacked beside tables and disarray in seating arrangements, all less noticeable due to dim lighting.? Service: I was genuinely disappointed with the service at Seoul Restaurant. On this visit, and in my past three visits, the same server has consistently been part of our experience. This time, when we simply asked for more side dishes (banchan), her reaction was shockingly rude – she actually shouted at us, saying, “I gave you double before.” ??‍♀️ It was unsettling to be yelled at for such a standard request, especially since it’s common in Korean restaurants to refill side dishes. Furthermore, the overall service was slow and unorganized.제발 스탭 관리 좀 했으면 함.??‍♀️ Would I revisit this place? Never again. Considering the combination of just satisfactory food, a messy and disorganized setting, and consistently poor service from a regular staff member, I am hesitant to return to Seoul Restaurant. Significant improvements in both the quality of service and the dining environment are necessary for a better experience.

All I want to eat with Korean food is ssamjang sauce, the waitress came back to me and said. I cannot give you a ssamjang sauce when your meal doesn't come with it. She left.

I was craving some Asian food around the area, and this was the only one around. They have a great selection of Korean foods, and sushi. They also have some combo options for indecisive people like myself :) My boyfriend and I got the Soup and BBQ Combo: yukgejang and LA kalbi for $27. The portion size for yukgejang was large and sharable, and filled with brisket and noodles. It was perfect for the rainy day. We came in on a Friday evening for dinner, and the restaurant quickly filled up. I thought the service was good, as they were quick to take our order, but we weren't ready. It wasn't difficult to just make eye contact with the server for her to come back. Overall, a cozy place that has a little feel of an old traditional korean restaurant and a lot of dishes to match.

This authentic asian restaurant is opposite of Massachusetts General Hospital building.Does not have parking other than street parking in nearby street which is hard to find. But if you are walking around the area and craving for authentic Korean food. This is the right placeWe were there for brunch. Family friendly.. there are high chairs. The bbq stove at table was not being used.We got hot and sour soup and its been 3 weeks and am craving that soup again. If was perfect as it was super cold that day.We also had Korean fried chicken with sweet and spicy sauce, bibimbap, kimchi pancake, yakisoba and oh my all these dishes were yum.I did not like bulgogi but as it was more soggy and i like it more on dryer side.Reasonable and clean
