My experience at Shore Leave was stellar. Choosing the Omakase option at Shore Leave was a spectacular choice, as for the price, it is a fantastic option for those who are willing to explore into different tastes and experiences. Vincent, the chef behind the Omakase counter, was diligent and experienced, offering insights on each of the dishes on the Omakase menu. I’d highly recommend being under his care, as he was patient with my questioning and left me excited to return once more should I choose Omakase. Chaz was a wonderful server who took care of me wonderfully; with their assistance, I tried a sake I would not have normally tried as per her recommendation. Had I chosen myself, I would have never made an attempt at it— but I did with Chaz’ recommendation and I greatly enjoyed it! If you are willing to spend a bit more, you will be pleased beyond measure. Go to the Omakase counter and you won’t regret it! The only reason I lack pictures is because I simply enjoyed it too much to put my phone down!

Had a great night out with friends. They loved the martinis...cocktails were very nice. We shared a lot of dishes, like hot honey Brussels sprouts, veggie and meat gyozas, carrot salad, and we also each enjoyed either a sushi roll or small entrée. Food was all very good. Hopping place with warm vibes, but a bit loud for me.

Our second visit to Shore Leave for drinks and sushi on a Sunday evening. The music was a good deal louder this time, which is unexpected for a place with large booths and groups less likely to turn over in less than an hour. We asked for the closest speaker to be turned down and it's hard to say if that ever happened. The majority of food and drinks are high quality, just pricier than you'd hope, averaging $75 per person in the end.

We were there for a special Valentine's Day experience. Great rolls and apps. We didn't try cocktails so can't comment. Very pleasant service, and the live entertainment for the special experience was a BLAST!

We went on a Sunday night at 8:30. i believe there were 4 tables including us. The food was not bad, but nothing crazy good either. The service was slow ( one waitress) who i believe was doing drinks as well considering the time we had to wait for our orders to arrive. The sushi chef wasnt any faster. Overall 4/10. Good for a quit night with friends to talk, but there are better places in boston. The bill was 240 $ for 4 people

Cute sushi spot in the basement. Clubby vibes. Got the omakase menu at the chef's table which was fresh and tasty.
