Try; nan filled with lamb, samsa, and homemade yoghurt. Employees are attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend.

Too small dishes. Laghman needs to be hand stretched.

I ordered the lamb in noodle soup. It came with a few chunks of lamb, a bit of zucchini and tomato, and plenty of noodles. The broth was pleasant. The main seasoning was ground black pepper sprinkled on top of the soup.

Food for delivery tastes good but just small portion. Don't know if it is because of the rise in cost.

First of all, I want to specify that this is a holistic review based on quality of good, quantity and whether it's worth the price. If the review was solely based on quality, I would have given this place five stars. It is fantastic to have XinJiang uygur cuisine in this area. Their food is also considered to be halal for Muslims. We ordered the Dry Fried Noodles, Scallion Lamb, and Lamb Kebab. The noodles are perfectly spicy. The lamb kebab is in the lovely cumin flavor and the meat is tender. Scallion Lamb is delicious with leek offsetting the otherwise strong flavor of lamb. The downside? The portions are surprisingly small given the price. As shown in my photo, the Scallion Lamb amounted to a few spoonful. This is all upon opening the takeout bag, without having touched anything. While we are grateful to have this place open as a takeout option during the pandemic, it is unclear if the portions are scaled back due to slowdown of business or if this is normally how much they serve.

Their scallion lamb dish is superb. Complex flavors, intriguing vegetables and greens in the dish and highest quality lamb in generous quantities. A surprise and a pleasure. Be sure to order the side of rice. While the lamb skewers were also good - again the great lamb - be sure you like cumin - the predominant spice. Both are good, the scallion lamb, though, is great.

The Super 88 Food Court, despite its, um, not hegemonically beautiful appearance, is fast becoming a serious contender in terms of Asian food courts. Pho Viet finally has a competitively excellent neighbor in Silk Road. Uyghur food is just absolutely superb, with such a satisfying peppercorny flavor palate. Have had both the dry fried noodles and the lamb-stuffed naan, and everything has been outstanding. You can have a veritable feast by just going down this aisle of truly excellent eateries, but Silk Road should be the first step on your journey.Oh, no, did I actually just write that last sentence? What is WRONG with me? The ghost of Edward Saïd is shaking his head at me in shame.

I ordered the dry fried noodles and the small plate chicken. The service was quick (took 10 minutes). The food was nice and I enjoyed the fried noodles more than the chicken plate. It would have been better if the chicken plate had boneless chicken pieces. Quantity was also good but I felt like the price is too high. Overall a decent place that I would probably come back to try the other things on the menu.

The food was decent, but for a food court express, it seemed a bit pricey.

Silk Road in East Cambridge has outstanding Uyghur cuisine, and I'm happy to say that their Allston location in the Super 88 Food Court loses none of the magic. I highly recommend the Dry Fried Noodle, pumpkin manto, and the meat pie (If you have enough friends to split it with!)

The dry fried noodles are killer. Hand-pulled noodles with beef, onions, peppers, and just the right amount of Sichuan peppercorn.
