Staff here is very rude and unwelcoming. Came in, waited at the door for over 15 minutes. No one was at the front to ask about seating. Bar tender yelled to her server “check why those people are lurking” at which point the server told me I needed to leave because they were full. She told me I should have showed up much earlier it’s “trivia night”. I didn’t know, I just wanted to grab some drinks with my fiancé. I asked how long the wait was and she told me “no we’re full for the rest of the night no one’s leaving it’s trivia night. next time you need to show up at least 2 hours early”…. No thanks. Won’t be coming back. Apparently I should have know before coming what “it’s trivia night” means.

Cozy spot with decent bar food. Drinks are overpriced. Generally less crowded than other southie bars. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat or drink

Great drinks, me and two others ordered the steak tips and they were top 3 worst all time.

So glad we found this quaint and awesome place as out of town visitors. The service and food was top notch. Loved the Halloween decorations too!

It was a solid meal with some tasty beers. Their wedge salad was surprisingly very good.

The young lady running the bar was great! She was very friendly and accommodating. I had wings and a chicken sandwich which were very tasty. We can't wait to go back.

Not worth the trip, poor food and only a half bar, no one has a mask, could be cleaner, decided to walk up to Broadway

Not very good, poor food weak menu. When suggestions made to server we were told we don’t care about the food, we’re here to sell drinks. Save your money and go another block up to Broadway

The new chef has revamped the menu with new favorites and upped the ante on the classics. Plenty of new beer options too.

My friends and I stopped by this seldom talked about South Boston bar on a Friday night. From start to finish the experience was terrific. The husband and wife ownership team was extremely friendly and you can tell how much time they put into their thoughtful and comfortable decor. The menu was full and creative, the food delicious, and the drinks even more so. A far cry from the usual in this neighborhood. I hope that people can move on from romanticizing the same three local bars that offer little besides loud music and long lines, and instead consider stopping into one of my new favorite places in town.
