This restaurant has an elegant, luxurious atmosphere but unfortunately the quality of the food does not match the ambiance and is not worth the price tag. My fettucine with truffle butter and mushrooms was swimming in butter, with very little truffle or mushroom flavor. All butter. Some pieces of pasta were hard. The lobster in the gnocchi was tough and chewy. The side of broccoli rabe was fine, but nothing special. For these prices the food should be stellar. The desserts were delicious and creative, much better than the other dishes we ordered.

Everything was flawless, we ate fish and tuna tartare. It was delicious. I can definitely recommend the tartare and affogato or tiramisu as a dessert.

Fine dining. Great calamari with spinach and salmon perfectly prepared. Nice selections of wine and solid cocktails. The service could have been a bit cozier as there were some junior staff that didn't quite have the same polish.

I went on a date to Sorellina, and it totally lived up to my up-scale restaurant expectations. The place had this classy vibe that commanded respect, from the décor to the overall ambiance. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, enjoying the light music and the buzz of conversation. The service was very attentive to our every need. For dinner, I ordered the saltimbocca, which was veal wrapped in prosciutto, served with maitake mushrooms and truffle whipped potatoes. It was cooked to perfection and super tender, but I couldn't help thinking that the portion could've been a bit more generous, given the price. My date went for the Mafaldine, a pasta dish with shiitake and oyster mushrooms, black truffle butter, and Parmigiano. She couldn't stop raving about how amazing the mushrooms were and how this dish easily became one of her favorites. No doubt, I'll be heading back to Sorellina for more. But next time, I'll be keeping a closer eye on portion sizes and the price tag.

We have not been back in a few and were very pleased we came with friends from out of town who were staying in Back Bay. Warm welcome, great cocktails, very good food selection and excellent wine selection. The desserts were greatly appreciated. We were able to share some dishes. Will definitely go again.

Wonderful dining experience in an elegant and subdued setting. We asked our server Brittany for recommendations and they were perfect. Oysters with refreshing mignonette , perfectly spiced Tuna tartare, braised lamb w, tagliatelle pasta. Branzino, Halibut and Filet mignon. We let full and happy! We will definitely go back!

I came here for my birthday (second year in row) and was completely disappointed. The service was terrible and for the price you pay, you expect more. The food was bland, had to send my drink back 3x (waitress didn't even ask if I liked it after setting it down all 3x times - she just walked away). The waitress seemed like she didn't wanted to be there and could barely explain the menu. Waitress also did not acknowledge my birthday until I spoke up about it. The only thing we really enjoyed was dessert. Manager did not come over. Overall, this place is not worth the money - did not feel like a high dining experience, and was much worse than our experience last year (service & food). Much better restaurants in Boston in this price range so I won't be coming back.

From food to service this place doesn't disappoint. Absolutely delicious and the attention to detail with the service was 10/10. I think our servers name was Kirk and he was outstanding explaining everything on the menu as well as recommendations that were 100% on target. Only ding is they seemed to squeeze us into a tight spot and one of our party of 6 sitting at the end if the table was in a high traffic zone making him uncomfortable. Regardless, already planning next visit.

It was my daughter's 30th birthday and this dinner was a celebration of that event. I mentioned this when the restaurant called to confirm my reservation yet it was completely ignored on the night. Not even a mention. We have celebrated several special events at your restaurant which is quite expensive . This last visit was a big disappointment.

This was our first time there and loved it! Can't believe we didn't know about it since we are such foodies, the food is amazing and love the decor and ambience ; people were dressed up and it was just a perfect after Valentines dinner, will be back !!! The only issue was we couldn't find it and had to walk from across Parking lot but apparently they even offer a shuttle service !

This was a overall terrific meal. The service was terrific. The drinks were a bit sweet. The burrata was delicious. The filet mignon was a little overdone for medium, but the sauce was one of the best I have ever had. The salmon was cooked to perfection, although the vegetables were a bit sparse and boring. The tagliatelle was outstanding.

I've only been a few times, but each time has been extremely memorable because the experience is always so amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. I've never got anything there I didn't like. This particular visit we had amazingly fresh oysters to start. Then my husband had the mushroom pasta, while I had a salad. I know a salad sounds lame, but the way it was dressed each bite had a perfect pop of flavor. And the homemade mushroom pasta was also just right. Finally, my husband had a steak, while I had the scallops. I left full and happy. However, I'd like to note, what sets this restaurant apart even more is that the service is probably the best in all of Boston. Our waitress was so helpful in picking wines, recommending foods, and never steered us wrong. She made us feel taken care of the whole evening. We will definitely be back for our next special occasion.
