Poor service. Woman behind counter with major attitude. Not a good reflection of the brand nor the neighborhood. I don't go in too often as I really want to support the local mom and pop businesses on Charles Street and will continue to do just that. With so many businesses closed on this beautiful street due to the pandemic, I just can't imagine anyone in the service industry with any type of attitude. Not good for the Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Do not order using the Starbucks’s app from this location. This store makes you wait in single line along with those ordering drinks and food in the store until they have paid before attending to the next in line. Your order sits on the counter for 2 - 10 minutes (yes - 10 minutes) while each order is processed and paid for until you can get to the front of the line. There is no reason to use your mobile app here. I abandoned my last two mobile orders here having fully paid. It just wasn’t worth the wait to pick up a lukewarm coffee. This used to be my favorite location (staff is friendly) but I now avoid this location because service is poor. Try Beacon St or Cambridge St Starbucks if you plan to use your mobile app.

You might wonder why there are 2 starbucks within 300 yards of each other.This one is built for speed. The other one is built for comfort. (Hanging out ) which is less of a thing in covad times.

Always a great experience at this location! I go there almost everyday and they always have my drink waiting for me when I walk through the door. The staff is friendly and efficient and the store is kept very clean. Definitely stop in if you're looking for coffee in Beacon Hill!

This Starbucks does not have a public bathroom for paying customers. This seems unreasonable given the value of the real estate on Beacon Hill. They clearly want to be a grab-and-go only location. If that's the case, then they should have signs outside saying take out only, and remove the chairs and tables. Otherwise, providing a single bathroom for paying customers is a basic service that should be provided by any establishment selling in house food and drink. They sent me a block away to use the bathroom at JP Licks. JP's both has a bathrooom and serves coffee- just go there.

Terrific service, such a friendly staff. I go here 3-5 times a week. Everyone in there is always so welcoming and happy to see me. When I'm having a bad day they lift me up. Cyp is so nice and always remembers my name and what I like "the usual". Honestly after moving to a city with no friends, I like to consider this Starbucks crew my friends. We love the lady with the antlers and big hair. She tends to help with handing out the drinks at the pick up point and is super friendly and fun. They do a nice job.
