The double expresso served in a cardboard cup was really bad . Like filter American coffee no resemblance of a proper expresso. All the ice mocas frozen sugar infused ice coffee ice creams for the kids ...fantastic. starbucks is turning into a nice ice-cream parlour.

As others said, this place is crowed and service is slow, especially food. The store manager should really optimize the workflow. There’s no reason we need to wait simple pastry items (we ordered not warmed chocolate croissants) for 10 min. At any other stores, the staff taking our orders would just grab them directly while we’re paying. But at this one, we had to wait while the staff heating up other food items and be yelled at for waiting at the counter near food prep area.

Easily the nicest staff of any Starbucks in the city. I used to go to Boylston on my morning walk but these guys always get my order quick and fast. A few of the baristas in here have the best energy and really pump me up for a day of work!

When I ordered the guy taking it was mad rude, I couldn't hear him very well because he was wearing a mask and when I asked him to repeat himself, he yelled what he said with a bunch of attitude, and then I asked him a second time to repeat himself about something else, and he breathed in and out to calm himself as if he was about to jump over the counter and punch me or something, and then again, yelled at me what he had said while giving me a dirty look. It was really awkward and I know I wasn't imagining it because my friend and I both shared a look like "wtf??" Maybe he was having a bad day or something, idk, but I do know that if I had social anxiety I would've broke down from that whole confrontation, so, yeah. The drink was mid but I just suck at ordering coffee.

Location was "temporarily closed" today. There have been three instances in which I have visited this location to find that is "temporarily closed" (indicated by a paper note pasted on the entrance). What could possibly be the reason for this? I checked both the app and the website before arriving, and neither indicated any warning of this location being "temporarily closed." I'm not sure what valid reason Starbucks would have for temporarily closing this location (seemingly doing so whenever they please), but if this will continue to be a problem, then please permanently close this location so that this space can be used for more convenient and available commerce.

Let's start with the pros: this location is super convenient for anyone who works at Mass General Hospital or who lives in Beacon Hill. Also, I would say that this place generally has better accuracy with orders compared with other StarbucksThe cons: this location has the worst wait times of any Starbucks I've been to. This seems to have gotten worse over the past month or so. The estimates in the app for when mobile orders will be ready are just wrong. During the a.m. rush, the app estimates up to 10-12 minutes for an order, but 25-30 minutes seems more accurate.Please hire more staff for your morning rush!

A reminder to myself not to mobile order at this location ever. Always crowded. Drinks are not always ready even if I order 15 minutes ahead of time. Nice service at the cashier though. The baristas are a different story.

this starbucks has the BEST employees ever. they make great drinks and are always so friendly to me. it’s my regular coffee stop and i go there a couple times a week. it definitely gets pretty busy since it’s right by the hospital, but the employees always handle it well.
