cheap as all hell. Feels like a family relic. Food was better quality than dunkin donuts and cheaper too. Cash only

Been going here for well over 20 years. Moved back to NYC, and still make it a stop every time I visit. BEST Lentil soup, period.

A great place to come and grab some breakfast at a local Brookline restaurant. The lady who served and cooked our food was very sweet and nice. The food was great. I got a sasuage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich with home fries. The other plate was the eastern omelette. I highly recommend coming.

Great place if you are looking for an affordable breakfast. The food isn't amazing by any means, however I believe most if not all of it is home cooked . I really love the atmosphere here. It's nothing crazy. They have a very slow paced, simple, casual mom and pop feel. I don't suspect this place would be everyone's jam, not very aesthetic but a great place to go for a nice quiet breakfast. The prices are great and you can really stretch your dollar here. Most of the food however does feel like something you could just make at home yourself so I would take that into consideration if you are looking to go out for a nice breakfast. Perfect place to go though if you want a cheap meal or just want a nice quiet place to enjoy breakfast.

Amazing breakfast food at great prices! Freshly made and always delicious. Their vegetarian club sandwich has some of the freshest vegetables I've been served in a restaurant

OK, I would give this a 3 1/2 star if I could. Why, read on to find out... I was looking for a replacement for a diner I used to go to back in RI that I loved, but as I'm now in Boston said diner is no longer an option. The service was very good with the waitress being attentive, friendly, and timely. The prices are also really nice and it's nice to see a diner here in the city amidst the waves of 14 omelettes and 12 avocado toast breakfasts. The food was a bit of a mixed bag unfortunately, and that ultimately comes down to the homefries. The homefries were... pretty bad, they had a strange metallic like flavor and were nowhere near crispy enough. The omelette (sausage, onion, pepper, american cheese), while not made in the way I prefer (put everything in a bowl and whisk it up like that and cook, vs add ingredients into middle of the omelette and fold over and seal) was remarkably still quite tasty. Coffee was all right - little odd they gave me a cup of creamer instead of having a small metal container w/a spout, but oh well - still the same stuff, right? English muffin was also solid - although I think you'd have to work very hard to mess that up. Last, but not least, it didn't make my stomach feel horrible after eating it - which with places that use too much grease in their cooking is a problem. Will I come back? Probably as it's decent on most things and right around the corner from me. Will I be seeking a new cheap breakfast place elsewhere in the city? Yes.

Very good mom and pop and the service is incredible service the waitress was so nice. But the food unfortunately was not that good and I really wanted it to be. The home fries tastes like a hard sponge and there weren't too many options to order. My daughter got chicken fingers that were very dry and looked old . Service I give five star for sure !!

Really great somewhat hidden diner. Food is delicious, fast, and cheap. The orange juice also hits a good spot. We're regulars for breakfast now.

Perfect for what it is, a diner. Two full entrees with coffee for under $25 , food was diner quality (in the best way). If you are not feeling the yuppie brunch experience then this is the spot for you. Staff is incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend the French toast.
