Food is not really fresh but passable, but the worst thing is service. They treat you like they gave you food for free or, idk, they are very tired of this job or they are not paid. Just terrible. I simply don’t wanna come back because I don’t wanna be served by those ladies. And the question for top at the end of just ?

I like this place. However, the service on the phone is terrible. Every time I have called to place a cake order I have been met with such disdain. My family enjoys the cake from here but I just don't understand why the person on the phone is so rude and can't find another person to be available to take cake orders. I placed a called asked to hold and waited 15 minutes and called back the same person wish I had her name was super rude and informed me that no one else was available to take my order. I find it super challenging that a business that comes highly recommended doesn't have the proper phone etiquette or staff to handle phone orders. The manger Rachel is great and super attentive and I had asked to speak to her and was told she too isn't available. I'm not sure what is happening but I can't be a customer her anymore. I know I may not make you lose any money but this level of unprofessionalism is at a all time high.

This place has gone stale. Desserts are no longer fresh. Don't count on them having been baked same day, this place is going downhill unfortunately. used to be my favorite bakery.

The treats at Sugar are beyond amazing. With such a wide variety to choose from and $1 coffee, this bakery is the perfect spot to relax and grab a sweet bite to eat. With an always friendly staff, Sugar Baking Co. is my go to spot for a lunchtime break.

Was more hyped for the place prior to trying out their goods, but emerged with some reservations. The chocolate cupcake was nice but the sponge was a tad dense and the frosting was a bit sweet. The mini blueberry tart and mini fruit tart were decent but they were so pricey for one bite each! I'd be up for trying some more with some modification of recipes ... perhaps I should have gone for the cookies. Seating area is decent.
Very interesting simple desert goods...too bad they don't have coffee. If you like interesting desserts but are tired of boring, dry coffee treats bring a coffee and enjoy this small shop.Con-- no windbreak-- this place won't be good when it's cold.

I usually get cakes from this place and went in to preorder a birthday cake. I was trying to compromise on a cake design they’d be able to do and was met with a rude cake designer who spoke to me with a terrible attitude and was very condescending. Other workers were kind and patient with me. I understand bad days but that was unacceptable.

Just tried this bakery for the first time the other day. I loved it! Their cupcakes were great and loved how their frosting wasn’t hard like most are. I felt like they went a little heavy on the frosting, like 50 cake/50 frosting however they are still my favorite cupcakes to date. Also, their lemon shortbread cookies were fantastic! The perfect lemon cookie. Definitely recommend!
