I’ve had them all, all the breakfast sandwiches Boston has to offer. And while there are some seriously good contenders, there’s a new champ in town. This is hands down, the undisputed best breakfast sandwich you can currently get in the Boston area. The freshly made English muffins are impeccable, the eggs always perfectly cooked. They use the highest quality ingredients, their bacon and sausage are just next level deliciousness. But it’s the small attention to details that put them over the top. Additionally, they have great customer service and if your order online you can cut the lines that form on the weekend. And don’t sleep on their ever growing lunch options, my personal fave being the turkey #1, add sunny sauce, in fact add sunny sauce to anything you get here, it’s that good. Sunny Girl is a true breakfast gem.

One of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch sammies + toasts in the North End, near Harborwalk. You'll find creative takes, really nice selection of ingredients used. Prices for North End are reasonable. It's a tiny interior for seating, be forewarned. There are some tables outside when weather is agreeable, I tend to do takeout myself. Friendly service at the counterVegetarian options: As of 3/2024, 1) standard avocado toast with whipped honey, lemon marscapone, and Iggys 7 grain bread. 2) an og breakfast sandwich with eggs, American cheese, special sunny sauce, housemade English Muffin. 3) verde sandwich with rapini, black truffle pecorino, marinated roasted tomatoes, garlic confit, lemon evoo, iggys sub roll

The breakfast sandwiches here are fantastic. All the ingredients meld together so well and the english muffin in particular is one of the best I’ve had.

This place is amazing. It will be busy, but worth it. You can order ahead & eat outside. The English muffins are just fantastic. Probably the best breakfast we've ever had in Boston.

The food was delicious! Very cramped little store though, we were all on top of each other, so don't plan to sit in there if you're grabbing food. There are tables outside though if it's not too cold :)Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian dishes, but the OG was delicious and is vegetarian!

Overall a great breakfast place in the north end. I probs won't go outta my way to go again because the parking was rough and it was a bit overhyped for me. We still enjoyed our food but it wasn't above and beyond. Sunny girl: First off, the house made english muffin was definitely the best I've ever had. The classic combo of bacon, avocado, and cheddar was good. Croque madame: The meat was quite salty for my personal taste but the egg and toast were cooked well. *Limited seating maybe sits 8 on the inside but there were tables outside. It will probably be nice once it gets warmer. Parking is highkey impossible unless you are okay with paying for the lot.

Had a meeting in the area and was excited to try a local mom and pop. The workers wete VERY ill and coughing and sneezing all over the food prep area, touching surfaces. Not safe or sanitary. Absolutely disgusting.Don't make people work with communicable illness.

Creative breakfast sandwich option in North End.With most of the breakfast options in North End being the usual American diner fare, Sunny Girl brings a breadth of fresh air to the neighborhood’s breakfast offerings. I recently took a visit to try a couple of their sandwiches and had a satisfying experience.Although the cafe was a bit small, it exuded a casual yet chic vibe that matched the quality of their sandwiches. They also shined with their house-made English muffins, which laid a moist and fluffy foundation for most of their creative sandwich lineup. One of chef’s favorite, the Lox was an ensemble of smoked salmon, creamy mascarpone, and confit fennel, topped with a refreshing citrus salad. The grapefruit's citrusy notes beautifully complemented the fennel's aroma, and modest portions of salmon allowed these toppings to shine through.A tribute to North End's Italian roots, Truffle Shuffle featured Tomato Conserva spread on one side of the focaccia and Basil Gremolata on the other. Its rich Italian flavors were further enhanced with black truffle pecorino, burrata, and pancetta. The East Coast Tuna was also an elevated take on the classic tuna salad sandwich. The crunchy iceberg lettuce and sweet onion added texture, while the Wild Sicilian Oregano provided a subtle yet distinct flavor twist. An interesting note was the unconventional wrapping of the sandwiches, with the aluminum side inside and the paper outside. I’m not sure if this was intentional, but the paper side is usually on the inside to absorb excess moisture. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the sandwiches that much as we had them within 15 minutes.Overall, Sunny Girl does a great job of packing refined flavors into sandwiches. While these might not constitute a hefty meal, they offer a delightful start to the day. Highly recommend giving them a try.Parking: No street parking available nearby.
